I do the same for stairs then touch up the bullnose and risers with the Shear Dry upholstery tool. One thing I do on thin carpet though to keep from grinding the stair head into the tack strip is to only clean from left to right when doing the run close to the rise and then pull away from the tack to travel the head back from right to left. That way I never hit the tack even on thin carpet nap.

I'm looking to start my own carpet cleaning business and from talking to the represenative from rotovac, the 360i is the definite way to go with it's great versatile upgrade options such as soft and hard stone cleaning. I also like the powerwand DHX but I think the 360i will be a better choice for me.

Well, from talking to rotovac personally, that powerwand that you demonstrated is rated at 256 RPM per head and not 1500 RPM. It's a great tool but if you can afford to spend a little more, the 360i is a much better option with it's versatility of optional upgrades.

I just want to recap my last review, not enough room to write. The Ninja's are made by Century carpet cleaning equipment. Is it possible I could call you personally and talk with you. Thanks again for a great video.

Awesome video bro. Great tips. I'm thinking of getting into the carpet cleaning business and definitely will be getting the 360i with the smaller carpet cleaning head. Question, I assumed you were using a truck mount extractor. I'm looking into a portable extractor like the Ninja Master or Warrior with built in heater and 500psi. Any advice on those units that you could give me? Also, I can't seem to find pet and child safe solutions out there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
