So I was just In Thailand for couple of months. I got a local Esim and it worked great but I did not get verification codes because the default sim was the esim. So if I want to receive sms codes, I would have to put the default sim setting back on my US sim card, put airplane mode on and log onto hotel wifi ? then once I'm done just switch back to the Thailand Esim as the default sim and take off airplane mode ? Do I have this right ?

Great video. I was thinking of porting my number to Google voice which is free monthly. Is there any advantage to using your method? I was also wondering if your method would work on a single phone using dual Sims or esim. I'm guessing you have the 500mb plan with US Mobile. If you can use your main overseas SIM data to enable calling and texting to your US Mobile SIM, does it take away from your US mobile data limit?
@inbetweenzebra2 ай бұрын
Google voice is a VOIP and generally you can't receive security passwords or OTPs. You could get locked out of accounts etc. I go into greater detail in my first video on the subject: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZ_Jf4elibKWq80 As far as dual Sims or esims I haven't tried it so I can't speak on it. Glad you got something out of the video. Good luck

OK I have got so much to say about this song and so many questions. I have no idea why this was recommended to me within the first 2 days after release but it was, and I watched it and I couldn't get it out of my head. So now its on repeat in my head and my playlist, I am sure I'll bring it up to 5K views myself. Q1 - why is it so catchy, I instantly got a Cali vibe but I am from Nova Scotia, Canada - why was this suggested to me? The line like these days I am quick hire and we are alive and in motion are fantastic - maybe I answered my own question. Q2 - why have I not heard of this band or the singer before, I am trying o find out more about them but not having much luck. I spent some time in Aliso Viejo and San Diego and this song make me feel like I want to go back. Q3 - Why is there only 146 views 2 weeks in - I don't get it - this song is fantastic! I'll be definitely sharing this - it deserves to be experienced and appreciated. More comments and question but no more time :)

Just a clarification for the viewers here, the highway to La Paz is actually free, the amount you pay is only from the airport to the exit of Cabo, in case you want to avoid all the San Jose - Los Cabos road, which actually saves you almost an hour.

Been comming to Loutro on and off for 35 years. It has`nt changed much ower the years. And the changes that has come, are for the better. Were there last time two weeks ago (July 2024). Best place to stay is Molos Apt. Best place to eat is “The Blue House”.

@@inbetweenzebra No not really. There are quite a lot of day-guest comming in on the boats in the morning, but they leave again at arround 5pm. In the evenings it`s very quite. And even during the day it`s No problem to find avaliable sun beds. Especially if you go to the Beach area between the town and the old fortress ruin. Dont know it that area was established when you were there !!?? It`s quite new, and I cant remember what year they opened it. If you go to Loutro again, do yourself a favour and rent a boat and go to the beaches before Agia Romelli. They are totaly secluded and you can have them for your self. And there is even a small taverna on the Beach at Agios Pavlos. Its very small and very local. Mainly visited by “hippies”. You have to hike or sail to reach it. And if you sail, you drop ancor and swim in 😊 Its a fantastic experience.

does this work in australia? i think i tried it in uk and it wasn't receiving text. i also have us mobile but i requested for a international line. did i do something wrong? let me know please :) thanks for the video!
@inbetweenzebra5 ай бұрын
I assume you're American. It's not so complicated, no international line required. Just a basic line with the WIFI calling option which the US mobiles line include. Make sure to activate the wifi calling on their end with an agent before leaving the country. It won't work if it's not activated prior to leaving the country. Once you're all set up it works worldwide with any wifi or hotspot connection. I hope this helps. Australia is an amazing country to visit. Enjoy

The "old school sailing boat" you saw at 4:30 is a "chaloupe sardinière". A fishing boat that existed only in Douarnenez, dedicated to sardine fishing. Douarnenez has been famous for years for its canned sardines, the bay was full of it back in the days, and the old port had hundreds of these boats that brought fish back for the city factories (where mostly women worked). The fishermen used to work with delicate blue fishnets, that covered the walls of the city for drying. Later, the sardine became less abundant and too big to fit in the cans, so the activity changed to tuna and lobster fishing, with much larger sailboats that travelled to Ireland, Morroco or Mauritania seas to fish. Douarnenez has a fantastic "Musée du bateau" (naval museum) with tons of archives, artefacts, real boats (some are in the "port de plaisance", alias "Port Rhu", where boats were/are built), models, ... The city also hosts a high quality magazine, "Le Chasse Marée", dedicated to traditional navigation.
