What do you do if the grass is rotated and too big? Note: I tried it again with only the assets from gscatter and that worked so it doesn't work for gscattering other meshes I think.

If the grass is too big then you can make it into a collection and use that in geometry nodes, then you can reduce the grass size in there and rotation also you can adjust in geometry nodes, did u tried it in geometry nodes

I'm a complete beginner, so I dont even know if I am doing this right. I select a subdivided plane as my emitter. I go into libraries and pick assets. I then press "scatter selected," but nothing happens. When pressing "add to scene," all the assets get placed in a small spot in the center. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

That shorts is about gscatter is not properly working in blender 4.2 so I came up with a solution and told in so there. You said after press scatter selected nothing happens, that is the problem now we are facing in Blender 4.2 for that I came up with two possible solution. @@KailashTutorials The random value nodes do nothing. I scattered a tree object from my asset library with GScatter. It scatters fine, but the trees are all the same. In GScatter only Distribution works. Randomizing scale or rotation do not work. So I tried your solution. But maybe I did something wrong.

Did you connect the random value to rotation in instance of points, and same goes to the scale too, connect random value to scale then change the values. After this also you are facing the problem, now I have uploaded a full video about how to overcome the problem with gscatter in blender 4.2, i accidentally found 2nd solution too, you can watch that video, it will help you to overcome whatever the problem your are facing. After watching that video also you face any problem, tell in comments i will help you
