Awhile ago I checked this out hoping more of xtc’s songs would sound like making plans for Nigel, but this song annoyed me so much. I went on my Xbox a few weeks after and heard this song on the radio in sleeping dogs, and I was still pissed but couldn’t bring myself to turn it off. The next few days later I was walking up the hill singing to myself “1-2-3-4-5 senses working overtime”

Love the story about McCartney & Ringo & Japan. So funny. You never feel like a rock star, I guess. If you’re not a jerk, that is 😂

Here's one from the head The one that bounced straight through The rubber soul, it's good advice For everyone You end up where you started crawling from I'm always bouncing into another Again and again, you find it's yet another So I'm always bouncing into the other Seven days to seven days Here's one from far away The way I lose confidence In what I say I'm only here For a while Breathe me quick, I'm only here for a while I'm always bouncing into another Again and again, you find it's yet another So I'm always bouncing into the other Seven days to seven days Tuesday Friday Sunday Wednesday Monday Thursday and, Saturday I'm always bouncing into another Again and again you find it's yet another So I'm always bouncing into the other Seven days to seven days

Have you discussed why more and better pop music comes out of England with a population a fifth the size of the US? Don't give me Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston because I raise you the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, ELO and every band I personally want to listen to (the Cure, Siouxsie & the Banshees, XTC, Depeche Mode etc) I'm guessing you already had this conversation

There are so many great XTC songs that I can't listen to, because the drums are SO F-ing Loud. I find that sort of mix annoying.
