Hate Broadway Shows. It's not real theatre but simply designed to make money.

In our Shin Dardic culture we call it the day Chelleh-Kalan starts (Extreme Winter) We call it "Biyali", it is celebrated by dances and sharing soups in the whole village/neighborhood.

Drama was not invented by any group of people, it just naturally emerged in many places. The information in this video is slightly biased. It can only be used to understand different types of play in different places.

Theater as we know it, artistically, its methods of acting, storytelling, theater as an art form, comes from Ancient Greece. Yes all cultures around the world had a firm of it but not as highly advanced as Greece. It was so connected to it's community and culture. A play was an event in itself that hundreds of people gathered to watch a play. It's influence is still seen in modern day Hollywood and Drama.

Performance originated in Indian , with the oldest known literature, Veda , western theories are biased theu cannot accept that any kind of theatre, Performance and acting began in India, actually Indian priests in ancient India performed and pronounced the verses, it's documented in the first and only treatise on drama Calle the 'Natya Shastra' the Indian system of theatre, classical sanskrit plays and drama is far more developed much before the Poetics and even any knowledge that the western world had

Lazy editing, lack of information, awkward transitions and sequences that are drawn out or far too short, this video just references the stages of ancient theatre. It just shows clips of it with any attempt to break down what the style of theatre was, or even provide a explanation of it. It's just borrowed videos, cobbled together and wrapped up in soiled newspaper and an ugly bow.
