The amount of horrible betrayal there is in this world, makes it difficult to be thankful sometimes. We have to try remember and appreciate what the early Christians went through and how strong they were in their faith.

Great analysis of humility, Fr Ray. Much to think about there. We empty ourselves to make room for the other person. What a wonderful image that presents. You can indeed, feel the love. You feel it with a unique difference as well, if you've learned it from God. The lesson is much valued and appreciated. ✝️🐬💝

It's very true. We all speak too harshly at times. Realizing it and attempting to make amends is embracing God's will and doing our best to honour His way. To speak cruelly and getting a payoff from hurting other people out of self-serving judgement, no matter how wrong, is the fullness of evil insitu.

Lots of food for thought here. Remembering that the Almighty is ever present is sometimes a challenge. Blessings to all. ✝️

What a beautiful homily this is. So deepliy significant in the world to-day, where malice seems to be the trophy for which so many strive. In Christ's teachings, the Church keeps the foundations of the world stable.. May we come together in 2024 to create a lasting peace, with God as our leader and Christ as our inspiration, brought to us consistently by Shepherds like Fr Ray Dobson. Thanks for this important address, Fr Ray! Happy New Year, All! ❤

As always, a fabulous sermon. Today, so heartfelt in addressing the situation in the Middle East. Thanks for this Fr Ray. Pray for peace. Pray for the mercy of all nations for ever having allowed this mess to happen in the first place. ✝️

Ok, in some cases, I agree with giving the bad guy a break, like Michael Catrone, but I remember the Paul Bernardo case vividly. We all lived it in horror until he was stopped . By the end, the torture he had inflicted was worse than anyone could have conceived of. Those girls were children and children of caring, loving parents. Think of what these families, including siblings, live with. Images etched into their memories. Remember the prisoner who loved everyone and choked out his cell mate.
