Such a good point!! I could not stomach paying that much for something and then not using it, but I also couldn’t stomach paying that much and then potentially damaging it, so the Majohn A1 trick was perfect for me. And the original Pilot VP body is on my desk so I can get as much use out of it as safely as I can! I don’t own any Pelikans yet but they look beautiful and I love anything ocean-themed so that pen sounds amazing to me🤩

Thank you! I feel so silly for not mentioning it: the palettes we have are collaborations between Traveler’s Company and Art Toolkit, so I got them from Traveler’s Company. Art Toolkit of course also sells the little pocket palettes (as well as larger AND smaller versions!) on their own websites in plain cases that are either silver or black ¨̮

I sympathize! It was easy to find on Amazon in a few different colors at the time that I bought it, but I just looked again recently and they didn’t seem to be there anymore:( The Stationery Selection is a great and widely-beloved site that tends to have them in stock a little more consistently than other shops though, and they ship for free after $100 ¨̮

I’m so glad it could be helpful for you!! A lot of people say the Stappo is way smaller than they expected it but personally, it has all the space I need. Plus, small bag means small space taken up on my desk😌

She seemed very pleased when she opened it! I haven’t seen her using it yet but, to be fair, I rarely get to see her at all anyway since college keeps her busy and far away and we don’t live together even when she IS home🥹

I love watching What’s in My Pencil Case videos and I love Delfonics pouches!! They actually come in at least 3 sizes that I’m aware of and I own all 3 of them¨̮ The medium is way too big for me to use as a journaling case but I use it for my fountain pen accessories, I’m not really using the small for anything though it is a nice size, and the XS is surprisingly my faaaavorite. Great choice for your friend, she’s lucky to have a friend like you. Wishing a smooth and speedy recovery for her! I’m also very intrigued by this “Blind Date with a Book” so thank you for sharing¨̮

@@papelesdeelib My son gave me a Blind Date with A Book from our library for Mother's Day. I never heard of it before, but it's been around, especially for Valentine's Day. You choose a book and wrap it in kraft paper or a paper bag. Write on it "Blind Date with A Book" and add the genre or a teaser. Add a bow of twine and a tag or whatever you want. Do a KZbin or Google Images search to see what they look like. My friend is a stationery nerd, as I am, too, and has arthritis in her hand. She's never used a fountain pen. I'm sure this will help her.
