There's plenty of wealthy people. I bet many would trade their wealth for the relationship you have with your family. God bless you brother!

Great video but why would you buy a car that has alot of damage and problems and then fixing it up for cheap? You could have bought a car that is in a slightly better condition.

I have a Justin too!!!! He is 25. My daughter, 23 has a 2009 Toyota Corolla. I just cleaned the MAF sensor and the electronic air intake (careful to do this right!), and did Seafoam treatment in the gas and motor oil, but now it runs REALLY well! I have to do struts on it now... but I've had to rewire almost the whole car due to a mouse chewing all through it, I changed the regular stuff like oil filter, transmission oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, then I had to change the water pump and alternator, only to find out it was just the alternator that needed changed. We also had to put in new windshield wiper tubes, because the mouse also chewed it up. Thankfully the pump was still good! And she got 4 new tires (2 at a time lol). All this took a long time but when you have to make what you've got work... handiness is GOLD! Your video is awesome!!!!! Thanks for sharing! And that was wonderful what you did for your momma! I'm a weird momma who likes to work on cars (don't worry, my daughter helps me!) LOL! I don't know a lot, but I'm learning with every project. I have a 1998 f150 that I'm trying to keep alive too.

That's awesome what you and your brother did for your Mom! Both my parents are disabled and my wife and I are disabled. So I definitely know where you're coming from. Your attitude is like ours, we get resourceful and a lot of things people consider junk we cherish. You've got a great attitude and remember brother, money doesn't make a man, character does! Keep up what you're doing and definitely keep your positive attitude! God Bless!!

While I admire your money saving methods, I draw the line at used brake pads (new ones aren't all that expensive) and using expanding foam & fibreglass for structural body repairs. The foam will absorb water like a sponge and promote further corrosion. Your heart is in the right place but you could be putting somebody's life at risk with that car. It think it is safe to say that you live in the rust belt.
