I wouldn't have a water coil on the inside. if it leaks you will have an explosion and out of control fire.

Hello. I have the same model that you are showing in the video. To connect the solar panels, how much would be the maximum watts, and could it be installed, in series? I have 9 panels of 300 watts each with 40 volts approximately, could I use them all?

The Solar Air Heaters look great and inexpensive; but, do you lose heat through them during the night or non-sunny days?
@ta-jt8ri4 жыл бұрын
you are the only person I know who can hold something over 140 degrees and not burn your fingers

Nice, warm project! I used beer and pop cans in my first solar house heater which measured 3 foot by 5 foot with a heat output of 55 C. For my second solar heater I used aluminum down spouts which was way faster. It measured 3 foot by 6 foot with a heat output of 140 F (60 C). So I scaled it up to 6 foot by 6 foot and it has a heat output of 203 F (95 C). They work great adding free heat to my house every sunny day! kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYSbdIqpfsh-aJI

You got a problem there bud. That thing is NOT safe like that. That has to be VENTED to the outdoors or you will get SICK from Co2. If that builds up enough. You are gonna be in some big trouble. Go buy a Co2 Detector.

You need to use a single piece of glass for a solar heater, Insulated units are a thermal brake, they are made to block out heat

Holds heat in. I don’t think the sun knows there’s two panes of glass.

Or adding insulation to your flue, it's got to be cold there.

The only way this would be beneficial is if the air was compressed much like a Heat pump other wise as others have mentioned, if its -20 out your not going to get 120 degree air on a empty box with aluminum roofing as a heat exchanger!

Put a stainless steel pan underneath it’ll glow red hot but that’s good that’s what you want and the best part they don’t burn out in the burn hotter and stronger put your air up from the bottom but your tube through the road or read the bottom have year come up from the bottom breathing the manger put a disk in round Can you have the air come up into the chamber you put all your holes down below and will burn really hot give you what you want with that oil less oil Good jobBuild them all the time

Just a drywall mudding tip, make it as smooth as possible and sand less, layers not to thick, drywall mud shrinks alot when drying
