What a fantastic initiative to share your learning journey with us, learners! Your progress is impressive, and it's difficult for me to believe you're a beginner in Python. The scraping segment was thoroughly enjoyable. If you could include your GitHub repo in the description, it would be fantastic. Great video!
@AdyNgom7 ай бұрын
thank you for the kind comments :) Part of the code is for an actual project but yes I will probably isolate some of the parts in a public repo to share. Regarding the scraping part it is mostly intuitive since Python provide so much power out of the gate with a plethora of battle tested libraries to use

This was so helpful. I was working with Vite and had it hosted, but not sure why it was showing a blank page in production. It was making sure that the HTML/CSS/JS assets cross-origin related file path in the index.html was correct. Thank you!

When I created a npm link to my project, it imports brings to node-modules everything in the linked package, including source folder and configuration files. How can I link only the dist folder?

it was not helpful. why don't you show what happens when there is no setTimeout in the function that returns promise?

I totally agree with what you said. We should indeed focus on the code, rather than on tooling which might break the app. Building without relying on tooling is somehow a luxury for JS developers today.

Very good video, one thought is instead of link library, if we use monorepo or turbo its combine all apps and its dependency using namespaces

I've never seen anyone include typescript in normal dependencies and not --save-dev...just fyi ...should probably be the other.
@AdyNgom Жыл бұрын
Hello Kalani. I think a more accurate statement could be we might not need to include Typescript in the normal dependencies since the library final output is vanilla JS and I completely agree. I just tend to shy away from word like "never" because they can be very limiting. In the case of the Angular framework for example, Typescript is a core dependency as in many others. This is intended to show the different steps needed to publish a library to NPM. Feel free to add more to it and I'll happily link to that content. Thank you for the feedback :)
