Hi did you do solo wild camping? what are the rules if any? From where did you hire camping gear and vehicle?
@ThePaceVlog17 күн бұрын
Click and boat app. Legit be your own skipper for no more than £170 . That’s super cheap for a day on a boat all to yourself! That’s from 9am till 6pm too! 👍🏼

@@Footprints_MemoriesJust the skiing/snowboarding footage. I'm making kind of a review of Ontario skiing. I've been to brimacmbe many times, but back then I was not skilled or smart enough to use a camera while skiing 😅.

Hi, I stumbled upon your video while debating on renting a private boat in the Amalfi Coast and using it to travel around to the various towns instead of the expensive water taxis. I was curious if you witnessed the process of docking or were you not allowed to get close to the coastline? Do you know if it'd be possible to dock/moor at each of the towns or is it possible to drop anchor and swim to the shore with a waterproof bag? Or are the anchor points far away from the shoreline and it'd be better to just get a skipper? Thank you for helping a stranger! I appreciate it!
@askjonsarah35403 ай бұрын
Hey there - thanks for watching. Yes and no. Most dock their boat and tender in or get dropped off by their skippers. For example, we were picked up and dropped off at the various coastal towns. It’s much different than a lake in North America for instance. However, you should be able to easily swim to the shore line, depending on how busy the town is. I would recommend water shoes. Any other questions, let me know.

Thanks for the video. I am wondering what have you prepared for the night and sleep, like sleeping bags, or anything else you found useful. Thanks in advance.
@askjonsarah35403 ай бұрын
Yes you definitely need warm blankets and a pillow. You are sleeping on a caught so keep that in mind if you have back trouble. Would also suggest bringing a battery phone charger that is wireless.

Sorry, the lake view was nice but that decor and furniture is sooooooo outdated. I’m in hospitality and would never rent one of my places if they looked like that.
@Footprints_Memories4 ай бұрын
Definitely the decor and furniture needs an update. Hasn’t been touched in 15 years. Something that I believe they are doing slowly.

We went during the end of April. Great time as it’s off season (cheaper) but warm enough for hiking and just cold enough that there were no bugs.

Isn‘t that the hotel where you pay $ 500.- or so/ n? (I am right now here in Giza) 😜 🤝 🇨🇭 Where are you now?

Prices vary depending on your room. Hotel is the Marriot Mena House. Not in Giza anymore unfortunately but this is really the best option if you can make it work.

I'm deciding between here and Elora Mill for a couple's overnight getaway. We just want to relax and eat well. Thoughts? I know Elora Mill has construction across the road right now...
@Footprints_Memories11 ай бұрын
So Elora Mill was on our list. I would recommend St. Anne’s as there is limited decision making and it’s all inclusive . For example, everything is planned for you including your meal times so you essentially just show up and can wear a robe the entire time and don’t have to think about anything including bringing your wallet with you. They also have hiking trails and a barn etc. With Elora - you do have the town you can explore but from my understanding, it’s pay as you go for everything else in the hotel and you may run into a bit of family noise in the pools. Just some things to consider.

Prices? Is it worth it?
@Footprints_Memories11 ай бұрын
It’s not cheap as it’s a luxury spa but you can do a day trip experience for $400 and an overnight for around $1200. They are generally booked 3-4 months in advance, given the location and proximity to Toronto.
@loomonda1811 ай бұрын
@@Footprints_Memories is that per person? Or if you come with a group of let's say 3 or 4 people, do you split those prices with them? Thanks!
@Footprints_Memories11 ай бұрын
The overnight costs could be split but the day spa packages are per person. It’s definitely not cheap but worth it for special occasions.
