I totally missed this until now. How I missed out on this amazing collab. Jon still sounds amazing and Rachel mixes right in perfectly. Feels like I've been listening to Threat Signal all my life. My top 2 bands ever. Threat Signal and Sybreed. So when I ffirst heard Jon sing on False Light Constructs with Obsydians I was in pure esctasy!! Keep killing it Jon never stop my man!

@@AyZeDno and I doubt anyone formally auditioned. Pretty sure Mike just worked with an array of people post 2017 and when he worked with Emily it "sounded like Linkin park" his words not mine.

The thing of it is, he's not imitating Chester, this is just his voice, and it happens to be a match. Threat Signal's albums are amazing and really heavy.

The honest truth is that LP is gonna get hate regardless, and the decision on not actually imitating Chester is smart, because people will complain Jon sounds just like Chester, but still is not him. I think Emily is great and LP + Janis Joplin doesn't seem to bad, just their new single was underwhelming compared to Lost.

Chester has some very tuff shoes to fill - you sounded great - however Chester’s passion is missing (his pain,trauma are not there because you haven’t live it) no disrespect
