can I not use yeast and if I do can i use nutritional yeast instead
@Open-ecommerceOrg9 жыл бұрын
+sheebon brown Hi Sheebon, yeast it is what makes the bread soft and easy to digest. Nutritional yeast will not work as fresh yeast or dry yeast. You can add it but won't rise your bread. There are some types of flat breads with out yeast and I love them but they are more like a tortilla or pancake. Other option is to use baking soda but not for this specific type of bread. I like to make my own kind of yeast using the yeast that it is in mi kitchen. Because we being baking for years and years there are yeast everywhere and this is the idea behind the sourdought.

Good video! However, there is another variant pronunciation for the word "SAYS", having the normal SAY pronunciation adding the /z/ sound. Check Longman Pronunciation Dictionary =)

You seem sincere. Your process is almost clear. Perhaps you could find someone who speaks English better to narrate your videos, or figure out what you have to say in English beforehand. Sorry to be so negative, but listening to this is somewhat irritating. I'd love to hear other recipes from you, sans the language problems.

silverkwan2614 Dear Silverkwan, I am glad you find the video and you find the process clear. I am very sorry you get irritated when listening to people speaking English with different accents and making errors. I probably come from a different background than you and have lived in many different countries and make me see languages in a completely different way. I live in London and the reason I chose this city is the diversity and multicultural society. In my every day journeys I face hundreds of individuals with completely different mother tongues. I speak 5 languages but the fact that we can share our life's together using English as a Lingua Franca make me so happy because it gives me access to other people stories and that fills my soul with love. One of my purposes for doing these videos it is not only to share my experiences but also entertain people and from time to time make them laugh. I hope one day you will enjoy English in different ways than yours and understand that languages evolve and belong to the people who use them.

Can you add an egg? Or would that change the texture?
@Open-ecommerceOrg10 жыл бұрын
daniel espinosa Hi Daniel thanks for watching the video. Eggs are what make a difference between a bread and a cake. It will change the texture but probably one egg it wont change that much but basically you will start to loose a bit the crunchiness of the bread. But don't take me wrong can be very nice I do like rich breads with eggs and milk, but in this case i am not sure because I like it a bit more dry and i want to feel the taste of the grain and I eat it normally with butter and jam or with soup.

Can use milk instead of water?
@Open-ecommerceOrg10 жыл бұрын
Sok Leng Ng sorry i didn't know about this comment :( . Yes you can but the bread become a bit more tender because the milk have a lot of fat. it sound good but not always works you can finish in something between a pastry and a bread.

This is a great video. Unfortunately, I don't have a lovely garden with plum trees like yours (in fact no garden at all) but I might try the recipe with plums from the market. I hope it's ok. Thanks for posting.
