Wish I saw them at the monsters of rock concert in the 80s in the UK but I couldn't get the time off from work as working in a motor cycle shop in the parts dept. At least I saw them in my city

Very underrated country rock band here in the UK, should have had made more airplay

Saw them in the UK in 80 or 81 live in my city called Hull Long time ago now Absolute fantastic band I was a zep fan mostly but heard these on the Friday night rock show on the radio and had to see them, I was 16 blown away, rocked all night. If I had to choose between these and zep which to see that night, very hard decision.

I was there... saw over 50 concerts at my stomping grounds. My favorite though of all time was MTB in April 1980. The last Tommy shows. He was killed right after the second show. thanks for posting this song. Assume this is a WLIR 92.7 taping.

RIP Freddie Salem (5/15/53 - 9/24/24) You might know him from his days of playing in the Outlaws. A true R&R Warrior if there ever was one.

Me and my friends saw them about 2 months before they had the plane crash in Dayton's UD arena. They were always great. Huge bank of of lights behind them, it was spectacular.

I was only a little kid but was fortunate enough to have Hadassah parents who took me and my sister to every concert that came close to us. Seen skynyrd many times and remember crying when I heard about the plain crash. When the surviving members formed rossington collins band we to see them. Man they rocked. I miss them wish they were still a thing

One read of these comments, and the infantile comprehension of basic English is a bit stunning.

Skynyrd fell into a prescribed concert show. Very unfortunate for their fans. Ronnie was dead set on sounding like the recorded versions. That's why you don't have the improvisational aspects of a live concert like the Alman Brothers band... skynyrds live show was to mimic the albums... so they could play to the script... which was a recorded tape playing over the load speakers... it's a fucking joke that people like Skynyrd... they are as fake as Mili Vanili as far as music goes... it's sad... they did make the music, but.. the live shows. Including the reunion tour we're all guitar karaoke with Johnny van Zant lip sinking the show.... fuck you ! ROSINGTON!!! You're a sell out of the highest degree! Enjoy your stay in hell!!
