Can I connect a usb hub to it and connect more than one midi controller?

Can I send more than one midi CC with one knob / encoder? Like for example send values on CC13 and CC14 simultaneously by turning one knob / encoder? Your stuff is great. I'm thinking of getting the knot soon.

@@intechstudio oh wow, incredible. Hope it’s ok if I ask a follow up question here - is it possible to have a different log curve on each assignment? Also, I saw there’s a note sequencer option on the encoder device. How about sequencing midi cc? Best Anton
@intechstudio
@intechstudio 8 күн бұрын
@@AntonKuznetsovMusic Both doable. We have couple profiles/presets featuring logarirhmic value output and on the forum/discord other log related discussion can be found. The sequencer profile sends out the values as midi command 144 (note-on), but there is no limit to change it to 176 control change command for sending CCs.

Before I will dip into GRID this is my Wishlist: - Upgraded BU16 Module Make the buttons light up instead of LED's underneath. This leaves room for either more buttons or other things (and imo visually just better.) - Upgraded EN16 Module. Multi color LED ring encoders. A single LED that lights up brighter is limited. (again the visibility is important to me) - Upgraded PBF4 Module. Motorised faders. (I know you know what I'm gonna say.. yes visibility at all times is the sweetspot :P ) BUT.. Not just any motorised faders. Take a look at the M4 module by DMMD and what can be achieved having that capability in a fader. - Display module. BUT.. not just a display. Have it include a battery, bluetooth connectivity and able to program the modules without a computer. This so more might buy the module for different reasons. And the probably higher price would be worth it for most I think I'm guessing most if not all of this would drastically change big parts of the overal design. So I wonder what actually be in reach for the company and what will remain pure daydreaming.

Glad to see these controllers getting full programmability, really useful for any setup. BUT! I'm having problems with the 1010music Bluebox standalone and your PBF4; the fader curve on the Bluebox is terrible, where most of the movement of the volume level is from about 60% to 100% on a mapped fader (not just the PBF4). My question is - can you adjust the fader response on your controllers with the Grid Editor, such as logarithmic or other features like with DJ crossfader curves? 1010music seem to have left the Bluebox in beta for the last year or so and do not release development news until firmware is released, so I thought I'd ask you guys who are much more open and adaptable :)

Great product. But I have a question. Once you have programmed the grid for certain midi actions, is it able to work in full stand alone as a "dawless midi controller" with the configuration you set on it before?
@intechstudio

After configuring with the Editor, the modules store their configs, so you can use the modules fully dawless/computer less. You have 4 separate memory pages to store different configs, accessible with the side utility button.

How do I set up the EF44 encoder to control parameter in ableton? I'm using it and the value jump around randomly in between 0 -127 depending on my last number...How do I set it up in Relative mode so that it send out increment or decrement value instead of acting like a potentiometer..I tried following the online guides but I still could figure it out.....Thanks for the help in advance
@Banoffeeee
@Banoffeeee 3 ай бұрын
If I could set up the fader control parameter without it jumping around will be a big plus too: My hope is that, lets say that one of my parameter is set at value 57 and if I were to move my fader from zero starting point up, then the parameter shouldn't give me sudden changes until my fader reach 57 and by then the parameter follow my fader...is this idea possible at all? or make any sense😅 this will fix a lot of problem i am having at the moment :) thanks for your help

@@Banoffeeee Within ableton, under the MIDI preferences there are different value pickup modes: value scaling, pickup and none. Choose pickup or value scaling so you won't have parameter jumps on the faders. If you set the encoders to relative mode in the Editor: docs.intech.studio/guides/grid/grid-basic/editor-121-encoder ... then you also need to check your mapping in Ableton. In the bottom left corner when you MIDI map an encoder it will ask the encoding mode. Set it to the same format like you choose in the Editor. so in a more practical real life example this would differentiate the pontentiometer colour but in addition we would also assign a different CC value or message to be sent together with the different colour. In this example could it be that each colour could be controlling a different parameter in a synth? Red for filter, Blue for Resonance and Green for LFO Speed?

Rad! I was just trying to get this all set up with my EN16 when you posted this, now I can see that it does work! Should I be using the default notes on the midi profile side and just build the MIDI2LR mapping based on those? Or is there a different profile set up on the intech module to make this happen? thanks!
@intechstudio

Only change was applied to the faders, so they send their values inverted. But for an EN16, that would be not important.
