The Labs are mother and daughter. The breeder that mum came from is no longer breeding I believe. The sire was Oscar from 12 Gauge Gun Dogs (should be able to google that or find it on Face Book)

Just wondering about your footwear - you have neoprene 'socks' ? And gaiters I see. Are the boots just regular hiking boots or are they water repellent or have some extra features?

Just light tramping boots (not expensive ones), nothing special. I fish and hunt in them until they start to wear, then I work in them until they eventually die. Wool socks

Haha. I actually used neoprene quite a bit this winter. Cheaper than breathables and last longer. Just don't want to be walking too far...

A nice day on the T. It seems to me we are a month out of sinc. Reports from the delta fishermen is that the water is still too shallow. Should improve at the latter part of the month if it rains, but what do I know, I am just an angler! Cheers mate. Harera

What weight flyrod you use generally in New-Zeland ?

Generally a 6wt 9' will cover most situations. I was using a 3wt 10' euro rod on this river
