Hellgate London 2038 is the best option to play the classic now. Servers in North America, this is a problem for many, but they also have a single player version. True, they abandoned its development long ago, unlike their multiplayer version (they still release their patches, add content and quality of life features), but even the single-player version is better than the vanilla and steam versions. I’m playing right now (unfortunately, single-player, because of the ping) - it’s great.

This trailer is so 2005 and I'm here for it, ahaha! Can't believe how much teen me was ok with the portrayal of woman armour ahaha! (I play 40k, sure have the armour be shaped, it's fantasy, but at least have it be full body shaped armour plates. xD
