One of the ways to get the most out of the PGM is to get a copy of "Techniques of Graeco-Egyptian Magic" by Dr. Stephen Skinner. He groups the items by category, and spell patterns become clearer. I would also warn you that it is a heavy read.

In the movie, two minor arcana cards with their own unique designs were featured but unfortunately is NOT in this version of the deck (the six of swords and six of wands). This also means the rest of the minor arcana was not developed with their own unique images either.

Did you know there were three versions of the Magican painted by Frieda Harris? The other two versions were discarded, but they are crazy!

Have you seen the new, big Königsfurt-Urania edition from December 2023? The colours are totally different again! In some cards you can see very different things again, backgrouds are more textured etc. It does not have the USG 'enhanced' look, so sometimes the cards look less sharp. In total, it looks much softer, almost pastel. Brown borders on the back. But my favourite thing about it is that Aleister Crowley and Frieda Harris have equal billing on the box, and inside there is a card with a photograph of AC on one side, and FH (wit pallette and easel) on the other.

Thanks for sharing. This is one of my favorite marseille tarot decks already but I do like the idea of modifying & personalizing it. I always bless and bond with my decks through tiny rituals

Lon Milo DuQuette is why I got involved with Thelema in a social way, beyond references. The Thoth Tarot having more than the names of the cards gave way to this deck and there might be an oversized deck in the future that goes even further in showing attributes-maybe an oversized deck. Angel and demon names can be tricky formulas and calling something an angel might not mean it is of the Loyal Host of Unfallen Angels. It is important to give time to learn from and make use of oracles and other ritual tools. It is important to figure out what the sequences and possible connections do beyond lists of attributes.
