If you were going to show a video to someone to convince them that Star Wars is awesome, would it be a Jar Jar video? I cringed as a kid and I cringe now. I'm an OG hater, I'll never get over how bad that garbage character was. I'm looking around my dark room now as I type this, scared that someone might see me watching a Jar Jar video. He made you feel like Star Wars was suddenly baby shit. You felt shame. For guys: watch TPM with your gf or date who knows nothing about Star Wars and see how you feel about Jar Jar's 'classic' scenes when she's asking "THIS is Star Wars?" I hate Jar Jar. I hate him so much. Ewoks I get, but f*** Jar Jar.

I think Hondo likes Obi-Wan so much because every time they talk Obi-Wan sits/stands patiently and let’s him talk. He doesn’t interrupt, he doesn’t really talk down to him, he speaks to him like a normal person and Hondo likes that.
