It's just depends i use r2s on every weapon and since we have only 4 slots for talismans so i just like the axe talisman and i like how R2s on this, it really depends on the way u play, u can just spam the aow or use jump attacks or R2s ya know depends on wat u like... I like mixing all sorts of attacks..

This community is infamous for its pedantry. He's still shredding through all the bosses, and the axe talisman fits his playstyle. I don't know why there's this obsession with min-maxing every point of damage. Who cares. If it works, use it.

Axe talisman works with any heavy and charged heavy attacks. It’s like the twin blade talisman. It’s actually most effective with greatswords as it strengthens the last attack in the combo. So you get the attack boost on the third hit versus the 5+ hits it takes with the twinblade.

I use the axe talisman a lot for any weapon i use as i do heavy attacks a lot and obviously heavy attacks do more damage so...

42 bleed per weapon is actually way better than 15% damage increase on bosses that are weak to bleed. Also seppuku itself adds +30 physical damage per weapon, which is very good on fast weapons and dual wielding scenarios instead of cragblade which works best on heavier weapons. Alnd lastly seppuku can activate lord of blood exultation talisman from the very start, increasing damage by 20%.

@@ulysses5340 well 30 damage is negligible when you’re doing thousands, but the main thing is that buffs in this game are multiplicative; 15% is like 600 damage when the twin blade talisman makes you do 4k. you can also get around the blood buffs by having another weapon to sepukku with and swapping. although you might lose like 5s of uptime you still should have plenty of time to proc the first bleed Since first proc will occur in 2 hits regardless of sepukku, that shouldn’t matter too much. Seems like it would matter how many bleeds you get, in the video the guy gets 3 bleeds on malenia; she has 180% of her hp bar equating to 147% hp in damage that has to be done (11% hp per bleed, 3 bleeds) compared to let’s say 2 bleeds with cragblade which is 158%. So vs malenia, sepukku has to deal 6% less damage, while cragblade just does 15% more damage at the cost of having to deal 7.5% more damage

godfrey got 2 bleeds, assuming 1 bleed for cragblade that’s 14% less more damage that has to be done but 15% more damage overall

Crag blade isn't good as u will need to do R2S with it so u can get more damage in this build I'm only using L1 attacks and like the fella said the bleed can proc most of the time on only 2 hits or 3 hits if u hit repeatedly. It's Judy depends on the build + crag blade is more suitable on heavy weapons and also this build doesn't focus on physical damage it mainly focus on bleed damage hope this explanation helped I'm terrible at explaining lol

@ you can just use cragblade normally with the light attacks no need for the heavy attacks and stance stuff the bleed is only proccing a few times. against godfrey, he bled 2 times in your video which means you have to do 80% of his health bar with cragblade you can definitely get at least one bleed, meaning you only have to deal 90% of his health bar. But you get 15% more physical for the other 90%, does this make sense? is 10% of the health bar worth 15% damage? mathematically no, but Godfrey isn’t weak to bleed, it’d even worse for melania, but numbers might come out differently on someone who is weak

Twin blade talisman increases damage of the final attack by 45%, doing more damage if you can get it off
