It not true that stuff made in Italy better quality. Sorry to say that. Who hired in Italy to build moka pots? Italian happy people who love their jobs? No. Mostly illigal immigrants who get very short time training. In China some companies are very good with highest quality control. I use Akessi moka pots from their top line and love it. Thanks for the video.

I’ve been using the instant pot for 4+ years and have made tons of rice dishes but for some reason this one gave me the dreaded burn notice even with almost 3 times the called for liquid amount 😢 any ideas where I went wrong? The rice had absorbed most the liquid by the time I opened the lid so I added even more and then again, burned.
@ImpossiblyKosher17 күн бұрын
What kind of rice were you using?
@CaileyDawn16 күн бұрын
@@ImpossiblyKosher white jasmine rice. I scoured KZbin for troubleshooting and I think where it may have gone wrong is I didn’t turn the sautee function off after I deglazed and added everything else. I think I should have turned off and let it cool down for about 5 minutes before moving to the next step. It struggled to come to pressure and by then most the liquid had evaporated. I kept adding more liquid and after the burn notice again I just hit cancel and kept the valve sealed and switched to “keep warm” so it pressurized on its own and give time for the rice to absorb the liquid and kept it like that for about 15-20 minutes and the meal was saved! Not exactly fluffy as it should have been but I think my own error. Flavor was good though! I will try this recipe again in the future and make the adjustments and come back to update to see if it fixes the issue. I thought worth sharing in case anybody else makes the same error.

My mom used to put me to cook as little as 7 in Puerto Rico, so I told my brother to ask my mom to tell me how much rice to cook, and he told me 4 lbs instead of two cups and guess who made all that rice😁so when mom came home some of the rice was cook on bottom but the top it wasn't !lol... So my dad told her not to get mad at me but we ate rice for a week!! So there!! As far as the rice it turn out awesome! In India, we don't get kosher beef. It's extremely difficult to get kosher lamb, mutton or chicken as well. We Jews number 4000 here and so kosher is difficult to procure. A kosher meat shop run by a Jewish shocket is 2 hours away but he buys livestock (goats, sheep and chickens) from non-kosher providers and then slaughters the animals the kosher way. Perfect kosher begins right from breeding to rearing to slaughter to dressing to packaging and sale - all undertaken by observant Jews. We are compelled to buy kosher fish - with fins and scales - from NonJewish vendors who place kosher fish with non-kosher fish in baskets. Our veggies and fruits are bought from Non-Jewish vendors who get their stuff from farms where forbidden practices of Non-Jews dedicating the crops and harvest to their deities is done. Same for eggs and dairy. It's an ordeal.

Researching all the various 'procedures'. Basic recipes all seem to be pretty consistant (salt, brown sugar), curing times, pretty consistant 24-48hrs), rinse 30ish minutes in cold water/frid. Pelicle 8-24 hrs, Starting to go sideways now?? Smoke temp- under 80deg F. Smoke time is the real killer. Anything from 4 to 18 hours. How can that be?
@ImpossiblyKosherАй бұрын
18 hours??? That seems way too long. With cold smoke the smokiness is in full intensity and fish can for sure be over smoked. I’d suggest 4-6 hours tops.
@TojazzerАй бұрын
This looks amazing but the big mistake you have made is to think that Bolognese is a tomato sauce. That's why it's so watery. It's a meat sauce. You should not have added the canned tomatoes but used the paste and water. Then, reduce the sauce until it is thick and meaty. The only herb you need is basil at the end. You also need a ridged pasta like rigatoni which is best to hold the meat.
@ImpossiblyKosherАй бұрын
Great point! Or just let the water evaporate longer :) I don’t like to use paste. It lacks the freshness that comes from tomatoes.

Loved the video and the pro tips. I made the ramen and my dough is uneven from the sides when I pass it through the roller no matter how many times I pass it through can you tell me what might be the issue?
@ImpossiblyKosherАй бұрын
Thanks so much for watching and trying the recipe! If your dough is coming out uneven on the sides, don’t worry-it’s a common issue. This usually happens when the dough isn’t perfectly aligned or if it’s a bit too dry. Here’s what you can try: 1. Check the Dough Hydration: If it feels too dry, spritz a little water and let it rest a bit longer. This helps smooth things out. 2. Fold and Roll Again: Folding the dough in half before each pass helps even out the thickness and can fix those uneven sides. 3. Feed it Straight: Make sure the dough goes straight into the roller. If it’s off at an angle, one side can get thicker than the other. 4. Give it a Rest: Letting the dough rest between rolls helps relax the gluten, making it easier to roll evenly. I hope this helps-give it a try and let me know how it goes! Happy noodle-making!

If you take and heat up the tip of that funnel and just push it in just a little bit so that it has an air passage from the bottle to the top of the rim of the bottle you'll get way better pour through. Basically you're trying to form a valley along the spout so that air can flow through. #iscreenshot I retain all rights to my intellectual property. @ImpossiblyKosher2 ай бұрын
Thanks Shmuel! 1. Kosher salt or sea salt are my go to. 2. So flare ups with smashburgers are good. They help infuse a smokiness into the meat. Of course if they get out of control, that’s not good. I’d take the meat off the grill in that case and close the lid, let it calm down.
