Can’t wait to try this. This still makes no sense to me, since the washer is going through both cycles each load. I would think then that the rinse aid is still being released, just at the wrong time of the load. Not sure how this doesn’t allow any rinse aid to exit the reservoir at all, but since so many people are thanking you in the comments for solving their issue, I will give it a go.

This is so damn helpful, thank you! I want to add that after the long press.. when you close the detergent door, it does the soft click as it closes. So always long click before closing the detergent door and you should be good to go! 🎉

When you leave it on the soft click when you close the door with the detergent it clicks with the door shutting. Is that moving the position again or is that just the sound or the door clicking shut? Because if that shutting of the door and that clicks shifts it again should it be the opposite way around that you leave it on the hard click or does shutting the door not shift the mechanism.

Now please. Why do I get gunk under my door. Massive globs I have to reach into the Crack to get. I don't understand.

I've been wearing wolverine for probably 12 years I have tried Timberland Pro I have tried keen. Timberland PRO have way better waterproofing they're also warmer and there are more heavier. Wolverines are more comfortable the most comfy waterproofing is not the best but they do hold up well just like the Timberland Pro now keen are super light the sizes are all out of whack they don't last as long but I like them because they're super light if I get them for a good price I'll take them otherwise this Wolverine because the comfort and they're not as heavy as Timberland I do miss the waterproofing that Timberland provides is second to none

This is a very poor design. At some point you will need to open that lever to open the dispenser cover, does this mean that you will have to go through this double click routine every time and still not be sure?

Excellent video, I’m changing this out on my 2019 Tundra.

My issue is no matter how much rinse aid I put into the cap it never appears in the fill sight glass. I don't think the reservoir is filling up. Any ideas why that would happen?

I believe that hole in the black plastic is for you to adjust that without removing the fluid container

Does no click count as a soft click? Doing this I get no soft click, press it I get a click, press again I get no click.

My issue is the black part in the door isn’t moving at all when I used the outside handle. The inside handle it jiggles a little. I had to push it open so I could close the door properly. Is that a similar issue? It’s hard to tell in the video, but I might pop open the door anyways

My Amanna dispenser never uses any rinse aid but the latch does not click at all when used in. It does release the detergent!

I will try this. I find it funny that you took a dishwasher apart and are showing the inner workings, but you left the smoke alarm up and beeping LOL

So I did that after having the same exact problem and it did not fix it. I filled up and it did the same shit however, I have noticed that I haven’t heard that humming sound coming from my canister when my truck sits like I used to. my check engine light is not on, but I have a feeling that the canister is not operating correctly and humming which is allowing the vapors to disperse into whatever. Basically, I need to change my canister.
