Love Lulu, but as I've said before, BBC Light Entertainment certainly got their money's worth from her, aye! Supremely capable, but so often a talent not realised to its full potential, that was Lulu. That said, her manager Marion Massey, knew that Lulu was equiped to embrace the broadest demands of light-entertainment as required, and could be relied on to do whatever was asked of her. A good workhorse for Saturday night programming output, certainly. And she's still around 60yrs later - yay!!
