I just heard of her and this song for the first time about 7 months ago. I'm 67 years old but I so often feel that I'm only just now, as a divorced man, learning how to manage my way through life. Some day I hope I''ll live the honest life.

There's a very subtle Joni Mitchell vocal similarity that comes out a bit in her vibrato. Great stuff.

Some times in life you stumble up to something special, you find some new kind of beauty or at least the honest surprise of time asking you to stop and stand still for a while. This song did that to me. I'm in a period of my life where things are falling in place in my head, yet still other stuff has never been so unclear. Courtney Marie's voice and words felt like puzzle pieces clicking together or some warm light that brightens up a few dark spots... I smiled and cried a little. Thank you for this.

Lovely, the main melody reminds me Joni Mitchell and the bridge takes me back to Alanis Morissette

Amazing song! There're many reasons to a person take more time to grow. To discover the 'whys' helps to speed up some processes, so it will not take a lifetime to understand them. Many times what/who's around distract us from the answer. :)

Hmmm... in my opinion, this is okay but she's not quite good enough to be the American answer to Laura Marling (which is, admittedly, a very high bar!).
