If you want change a new printer, try to get a printer don't have drum.

Yes.. U need to dissembling pcb controller board, toner rotation motor ..then u only can get access to fixed to solenoid. But using this way will have a risk.

I had the same problem with double printing (ghosting) on the HP Color Laser 179fwg. I removed the toner, waste toner container and took out the image drum and cleaned the image drum all around with a lint-free dry cloth. After installing the parts the printer went back to normal. No more double printing

Imaging drum double image is inside the pcr and wiper blades problem. If u know to replace this part, then you no need to replace whole unit

Just follow my video.. U just need to unplug the paper sensor cable.. Then u will see 3 pin which is connected to this cable. U just need to use wire, soldering the first pin and third pin. Make it first and third pin connected. After done this, u can try check your printer status again.

This model can't reset manually.. Need use some certain software.. And need take out the chip use universal programmer to do reset
