I've had customs built in the past by them and I had to do the same.

I'd mostly trust their sizing but pick the smaller of your range. Sliding was fine not bad but not flying across uncontrollably, they're nice pads if you're set on getting a true set.

@@GoalieUnion my ATK is about 17.5, maybe a pinch over, so that puts me at a 33+2. Looked like you had those in your video so I figured I’d ask. My FTK is about 20.5. I’ve got 34’s and an original EFlex at 35’s. I have read the “fast glide” is not fast but I’d say my Axis 2’s would over slide. Just looking for your thoughts on both before I switch from CCM to True

You must have missed the part where I say I totally get why people love the gear. Preference is a thing and you can’t seem to grasp that, so much so you’re mad online about it. 10 years of skating with NHL players in the off season gives me some decent perspective on the quality of gear but you do you I guess.

@@GoalieUnion Dont take my comment personally. Its backed by facts....MOST Warrior gear is bought off the shelf and played by Beer leaguers. Low end, over-sea's pads around a 1k cost from Vaughn, CCM and Bauer plus the so-called highest end Warrior gear like yours are all on the same page for quality, performance and the minimal cares by the beer league goalies wearing that stuff around the globe. Ive been retailing this stuff for 2+ decades and thats the perception and trend..... but dont take my word for it, you do you. Have fun with your Ball hockey stuff.

@@GoalieUnion No one is crying. I just think one little skate with True and then you picking to stick with the road hockey gear instead is somewhat embarrassing. Thats like some one reviewing a Ford Escape suv vs a BMW X5 SUV and telling the masses you're settling with the much lesser Ford becauseeyou are more "familiar" with it and no other reason because Bias rules your review. Despite the gross amount of reasons the better model is globally more reknowned and popular for reasons beyond your knowledge its probably best you dont admit whats best before doing some homework next time.

NHL rules for chest equipment wouldnt let you use any retail CA's. They require the shoulder floaters to be stationary. The shoulders on this one arent close to legal, the regular Pro would be closer since they segment at the top. What league is enforcing NHL rules for the goalies? I'm guessing its more the 11" pads than anything else. No retail pant is NHL legal either.

@@GoalieUnion "the permitted sizes are the same as in the NHL (so if your chest protector is OK for ice hockey in minor hockey in Quebec, it will be accepted in the ProCosom League" this is the quote from the league when I asked about it. I should note it's a ball hockey league. Unfortunately I didn't realize how big chest protectors can get and I bought the RX3 E+ Senior XL (on clearance,no returns, so Im stuck with it. it's my first time ever buying an ice goalie chest), previously I was using a cheap Canadian tire street chest and I was getting a lot of bruises. I wonder are there any adjustments, with straps or other ways I could trim it down a bit or make it fit better so the shoulders dont push out too much?

GoPro Hero 11 Black, helps to keep ISO in check and use a flat profile and I just tweak the colors/exposure in FCP. It looks miles better than letting it do it automatically imo.

They’re back in stock? I just use hockey tape and attach it to the chin strap. Their holders will snap from puck impacts

@@MtlStinger087 Awesome! Looks like they upgraded to USB-C too which is really nice. I just take about 5" of tape and wrap it around the mic and the chin strap. I dont use their clips at all, when I have the mic has fallen off and/or snapped the clip on hard puck impacts. Depending on how old your kid is that might not happen but the hockey tape around the chin strap works great and isnt intrusive.

Best answer I’ve heard you’d think Bauer could retain them if they’re officially their product though. Seems like a rule that needs to be updated.

@@GoalieUnion 100% it was the same for having authorised artists to paint their masks they where trusted to put the mask back the “correct way” it’s a shame hell even if you could send your mask to a licensed shop that could do it. But alas they would rather us buy new masks than re foam them.

For sure, fast and high skill is always the best even on a bad day. I’d rather know what’s wrong with my game than just go out for reps.

Couldn't really tell you compared to the others. I know they have plenty of kick. I've used P3X's and I'd say they have more punch than those.

No just havent been recording lately. These skates will be back soon and I'll have the camera back up.

Thanks for checking in! Knee is okay about 99%, in my 3v3 league I tend not to record as much and doing morning skates. I'll be posting a vid soon...new equipment related whenever that comes in. You might see some more besides that beforehand too.

I only played up to high school, quit for about 5 years but got back in and kept getting in better and better skates.

@@GoalieUnion well that’s higher than me… I’m 33 never been on skates before in my life - always wanted to play hockey (specifically goalie) - and my local rink let me join D league… and I have made it up to C league this season 1 year later 😃

I think the newest ones have that ability, double check but I thought I saw it in the keynote.

@@crewzta I was doing some NHL practice skates for a couple months this summer using it. The CA does great, only thing I noticed is feeling it a bit more on shoulder shots.

@@crewzta probably not needed but whatever you're comfortable with, I just wear an "elite" Bauer neck guard and a regular athletic T.
