The one who is weak and sickly is not the one who did not get the food....it is the one who damned himself by taking things for granted. You are misunderstanding the text entirely. Paul is speaking there of the one who is sinning against the body by their conduct at the lord's table.

There are about 4 other instances, and he said that something similar where he alludes to getting revelations. In galations, he says no one taught him the message he preached Gal 1:11-12. This is why when Paul says he received from the Lord, we should not be hasty to say he meant otherwise just so we can push our point.

Bro before you make a comment, try to check it from the Greek lexicon of the Bible instead of just searching "remembrance" in Greek by AI😂. Check the actual verse in the Greek Bible and translate the whole thing into English... or how "remembrance" in that scripture was described in the Greek lexicon, and pick that Greek word and translate into English. You'll see the actual meaning. That's how you should do it 👍

This is misrepresentation of scripture. The Lord's supper was not Passover. It was instituted amid Passover celebration. Agreed, Christ is our Passover, but to say that when Paul spoke of what he received from the Lord in this manner is utterly wrong and misleading.

The beginning of the answer is wrong, Moses didn’t preach Christ, he only taught the law as revealed by God, he only gave prophesy about Christ. Everything taught about Communion is not in line with the scriptures. Quoting Dr Abel himself it is where you take interpretation of the bible to that where the bible stays as your personal interpretation. Any interpretation that contradicts Christ injunction and commands should be rejected.

1. The Passover Feast was not constructed by Moses because of the reasons Damina is saying, those are false. The pass-over feast was established by God himself and he told Moses to let the people celebrate it as a sign of what he God did for them when they were in Egypt. (Exodus 12:1-20) the purpose why God instituted it is for them is to remember his power over his people and his protection of them because he knew with time they can forget. 2. While it is true that Jesus Christ came to replace the pass over feast, From the time he died, his blood replaced what they used to remember from Moses time, so in effect he Jesus Christ the night before his arrest removed the old covenant or Law which was the Pass-over then he Jesus Christ established his new Law and feast which is the Lords Supper and he commanded us to remember it and partake in it as often as possible (Luke 22:1-2, 7-23) 3. The Statement Jesus Christ made at Luke 22:18 (" For I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”) Was because he was hinting the disciples of his death, he knew he was going to die soon, and he will resurrect and go back to heaven to his father, he is not going to stay here on earth to continue observing the Lord's Supper with us but he want's us to continue with observing it even in his absence that is why he told them in verse 19 that: (do this in remembrance of Me). 4. Don't forget, that anything God is particular about and intents for us to keep it he makes a statement on it that remember to keep doing this. Example is the lord's supper, in Luke 22:19, another example is in Exodus 20:8 (REMEMBER the sabbath days and keep it holy), That keyword remember, whenever it appears shows how seriously important he lays emphasis on the subject. 5. The things Paul was talking about concerning people who were breaking bread has nothing to do with what Jesus himself has said, Paul did not condemn the Lords supper, he only spoke to how some people are choosing to observe the Lords Supper and the excesses people are trying to introduce into the lord's supper observance, it has no meaning to say because of what Paul said to some people misbehaving, the entire word of Jesus telling us to observe and celebrate the Lords supper is nullified? no never. Be careful of lies, read the bible for yourself don't just follow people blindly
