I found out the other reason is because your dad didn’t grow up with what you would identify as snacks. While they love to eat your version of snacks, sometimes they would crave what they used to nibble on as kids.

The reason my mom would get rocky road ice cream 😂 now as an adult she can get her true favorite vanilla bean ice cream 🍨 we still eat each other stuff but we ask first 😂. But my stepdad nope not touching it 😂I’ll let it rot before I do and he doesn’t touch anyone else’s food but he eats the most basic stuff no sauce no veggies 😂

It'll work against you though because ur kids are gonna want to emulate Dad, so when they see him enjoy puke bites they force themselves to enjoy them as well until they themselves do enjoy it as much as dad seems to.
