So sad instead of following this heritage of english country houses as their model for building new houses… British are now following America model of ugly, devoid of character, proportionless mansions with large rooms, low ceilings and open plans… while americans are increasingly and gradually moving to proportions, formal rooms, character property and high ceilings 😅

Terrible sterile box. I keep having to say this, but folk are incapable of preserving the integrity of old buildings anymore, not to mention their deeply questionable furniture and furnishings choices, what a shame.

It reminds me of a semi - detached bungalow. I consider a true barn conversion to feature exposed stone or rustic bricks internally, vaulted ceilings with elderly timbers, a glazed gable and a vast amount of glass where an original barn doorway would have been. This is very bland and would not commend the value of a true barn!!

Some of the arching bedrooms really limit furniture especially if you want free standing wardrobes.

The camera work is first class but the format just does not work for me. I get no sense of the flow of the house and a walk through with a guide would be more informative. Check out Damien merry to see how it should be done (He should hire your camera guy though).

Probably preferential to have the dining in the entrance reception, as currently in the conservatory with stone walls it would be chilly in the autumn, winter. (Or swap round every season). So technically there is one lounge reception and a conservatory.

Personally I do not like grey, they could of chosen better pastels but the rest of the design and features reflect a warm and welcoming modern family home with a high class vibe.
