I love his assessment of all fruits as either orange or berry. My husband can't pick notes but on me he loves really girly fruity florals which are not my fave, and not anything unisex as much.

I paid an arm and a leg for Ghost in the US because it's supposed to smell like Avon, Karmala. It was a huge let down. Speaking of sweets, I tried Lancome, Hypnose today and fell in love. It's black licorice in a bottle, even though there's no anise in it at all. I tried Lolita Lempika and several others but they all smelled like baby wipes to me. This one is spot on and reminds me a bit of Loverdose. Always a good day when a picky girl finds herself a new perfume. Maybe you can find a turkish delight oil? I like layering perfume with single note oils. Works out great, especially if you have dry skin.

Gave the original Glow another chance today. It does smell like ivory soap but I also get this plastic-y, doll head note on my skin. Kinda strange but I do enjoy the dry down. Also picked up Anais Anais. Hyacinth bomb & I love it. Very soft & feminine. 💜

I love her original iconic fantasy perfume. It has been my favorite. However i also love her my prerogative cover so much and that's why i kinda wanna get this one too lol. The name kinda attracts me. Unfortunately i can only order it online because i can't find it at stores where I live. where can you buy the Nivea perfumes?

i recently tested an old sample of diorella that i have, and to me it came off as primarily strong lemon oil plus aldehydic soap - ivory soap, if you know that reference. i wonder if my sample had gone off, because i really didn't get much of anything else, not even in the drydown (maybe the faintest bit of vetiver; no florals at all) certainly not any of the notes listed in the vintage like you picked up. i wonder if i should purchase a decant again and retest (there's a decant site here in the US that i got my sample from).

Best honey smell is 273 Rodeo Drive by Fred Hayman, cheap and chic... Hard to find whoever is so unique!

i love cinema. have loved it since i smelled it on a test strip in a magazine when it first came out. i finally JUST got an EDP bottle recently, and i'm glad i did as it's been discontinued, at least here in the US. how to describe it? hmm... sparkly at the top, yet also plush and sophisticated. not loud - quite soft, which is perhaps a bit surprising given the name / marketing campaign. anyway, i really enjoy it as a perfume, i'm glad it's not too sweet compared to so many designer scents today, and yet that it's still modern. i also own the EDT (accidentally bought the EDT first a few years ago) and it's beautiful too, just a bit lighter and wearable in summer.

After Eden juicy apple and the lychee one, I'm cautious 😂

Obsessed with Fenty makeup as well. But .......Fruit-chouli's are one of my least favorite fragrance profiles. I do want to sample, but I'm realistic that this is likely not for me.

hiya :) quality of the new microphone is great! i would recommend buying a pop filter for it though. it helps a lot with popping noises from fast moving air, very common when saying the letter P. lovely video!

I absolutely love your videos, I’ve been binging them almost daily since I found your channel! It’s so nice and refreshing to see someone reviewing some more affordable and often lesser known perfumes. I went and checked La Rive’s own website, and they do list tuberose as one of the notes in My Way. According to them, the top notes are orange blossom and bergamot, middle notes are tuberose and Indian jasmine, and base notes are vanilla, white musk and cedarwood. Hope you’re well and will continue making these wonderful videos!😌

I live in UAE and I never got the hype of Kayali perfumes. They smell overly sweet and not at all unique. UAE has some amazing perfumers, niche fragrance companies compared to this mess 😅 I feel Mona Kattan is just riding on Huda Kattan's success and churning out these forgettable scents 🤦

I just started watching your channel, so I don’t know how you feel about literal gourmands - but DUA is a dupe company in the U.S. that clones a lot of expensive perfumes and iconic formulations of perfumes (like the original version of Hypnotic Poison). They also have their own original creations, including lots of gourmands. They have a scent called Banana Foster that is supposed to smell literally like the dessert. I want to try it so bad as most banana scents are very fleeting and DUA perfumes are very strong.

This one has been suggested in a few soapy video's. I asked reddit and a lot of people suggested Byredo Blanche. I think I'm hypersensitive to scents and thats why I'm fussy. Are any of the Alfred Sung's nice and soft like the Philosophy line? I think what I'm really looking for is something soft and none offensive.

It's amazing how different we all are, I've never smelt or had Mediterranean by Elizabeth Arden, but for me Cool water is just perfect, one of my favourite fragrances ever, it makes me feel so good every time I smell it.

I have always wanted to try E. Arden Mediterranean, but it is only available online. I like all aquatic fragrances anyway 34:42 , so maybe it is for me. My way is not for me either.

I adore it and I've never found anything else like it. My son picked it out for Christmas as a toddler and he chose wonderfully. A fall evening favorite.

My mother wears Tova Signature. Huge lavender/bergamot scent. Lasts forever. Extremely clean. I want to try Guerlain Chant D'aromes. It is pricey however. If you like Oriflame, try Possess the Secret sometime. Favorite of mine. Peachy and delicious.

@skinscentsforfusspots My old gf used to wear Poison back in the 90s - it was so sweet that it made me gag, I'm afraid. Today I have her wearing Dolce Lily, which is much better all round. So not here to bash Poison, but to finally point out: Chacal is the French for `Jackal'. Helpful? Irrelevant?
