I'm sorry but imagine being those winners for the short films having worked so hard and are so thrilled to get an Oscar nomination and win and then having to give your acceptance speech in the middle of the audience just because the academy didn't think it worth giving them just a few extra seconds to go on stage just because they weren't famous.

Wow I miss the old days of the golden globes and award shows in general. No political speeches, no fancy mtv style cutaways etc. it’s people presenting awards and talking about films and tv.

Supposedly Jackie liked that Owen spoke much slower than Chris Tucker. This interview shows that 😂.

"To stop the cycle of violence" Tim Robbins says to a room of applauding pedophiles and rapists. On a positive, this was 20 years ago when people won based on merit and not ethnicity or skin colour.

I always thought that the HFPA were way more fair to movie/tv people than the (overrated) Oscars and Emmys were. Not to mention that it’s way more fun to watch all these film and tv stars being more at ease. And that era….oh how i loved this easy glamour of the early-to-mid aughts🥰 (And by writing “easy glamour” i totally do NOT mean this genius Chanel Couture dress SJ wore that night☝🏼😉♥️)
