It is amazing to see how beautiful fishes are in the Blackmere, we are just going back our 3th section 48hrs , unfortunately we blanked twice. We know it is not an easy lake, my i ask for some advise, bait rig maybe peg. Keep doing your updates enjoy to watch.

What the hell has happened to the mouths on these carp, they used to be perfect fish, that we all wanted to catch, but now! I am not sure I want to go back. Is this a result of the barbless hook rule? so many of the fish in lakes in the Cotswolds seem to suffer this, it can't be just coincidence. So very sad.

I think it is the barbless rule them old carp used to be in top condition I loved it on there but doubt I'll go back such a shame.
