If you want to tell a correct Japanese history, use proper illustrations. The samurai in the thumbnail looks totally weird, and all the illustrations used in the video are also weird and wrong. At 01:41, those armors they are wearing are not samurai armors. They look Chinese. At 01:49 and 01:54, ordinary women in Japan never wore that kind of white face make-up. The illustrator mixed up ordinary women and geisha all together. At 03:22, people in Japan didn't wear those wide-brimmed hats. Those are Korean fashion. The armors at 01:58, 02:07, 02:11, etc. are all represented wrongly. Buildings look all weird too. Obviously the illustrator doesn't know the difference between Japanese and Chinese, and Korean cultures.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to point out these inaccuracies. My intention is to create informative content that accurately represents history, and I can see that the AI-generated illustrations in this video didn’t capture the cultural distinctions as they should have. I’ll definitely take your comments into consideration for future videos and work on ensuring the visuals are more historically accurate. Thank you again for helping me improve - I’m always open to learning and making better content!

Navigation and sea power were king. Spanish and Portuguese kings made these investments and led the way. Arriving to N & S America on the west coast wouldn’t have provided the same opportunities for settlers and traders that the Spanish, English, and French found on the East Coast.

Great point! The Spanish and Portuguese were indeed pioneers in navigation and sea power. Geography played such a crucial role in shaping colonization. The East Coast's proximity to Europe definitely gave the Europeans a strategic advantage in trade and settlement. But it’s intriguing to imagine how Chinese influence could have altered the development of the West Coast-perhaps creating entirely different trade networks and cultural exchanges. Thanks for sharing your insight! What do you think might have happened if both the East and West Coasts had been colonized simultaneously by different powers?

Great point! There’s definitely a lot of evidence suggesting that other civilizations, like the Vikings, may have reached the Americas long before Columbus. It’s fascinating to think about how different cultures might have interacted with the New World. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

That’s an interesting idea! Asia, especially China, had incredible advancements in areas like technology, art, and science during certain periods. It would be fascinating to explore how these advancements might have influenced the Americas if they had been the first to arrive. Thanks for the idea-might be worth a deep dive in a future video! 😄

Absolutely! China was at the forefront of many technological advancements, from metalworking to printing, long before these innovations reached Europe. It’s incredible to think how history might have unfolded differently if those advancements had spread across the globe sooner.

What many fail to realize about Queen Mary I is that her father, King Henry VIII, had significantly more people executed than his three children combined.
@HistoryFromEni
@HistoryFromEni Ай бұрын
You're absolutely right about King Henry VIII. His reign was marked by significant upheaval, and he was indeed responsible for more executions than his children. Mary's actions, often attributed to her efforts to restore Catholicism in England, are a complex part of her legacy. It’s fascinating to see how the political and religious tensions of that era shaped the actions of rulers. History is full of nuanced stories, and I appreciate you bringing up this point :)

@HistoryFromEni Ай бұрын
Thank you for your suggestion! While Sheikh Hasina is a prominent figure in contemporary politics and has faced criticism, it’s important to carefully consider historical context and the criteria used for evaluating leadership. The complexities of political leadership often involve difficult decisions, and views on these leaders can vary widely based on perspective and context. My video aimed to highlight historical figures whose actions were characterized by extreme cruelty or violence. I appreciate your input and encourage open discussions about history and leadership. Your engagement helps us explore these topics more deeply!

China isn't a modern superpower not even close, they like to talk all that jazz just to show off that they've the same power or more powerful than the US but it's not true at all. Also will you stop saying "BCE or CE" and say BC or AD?
@HistoryFromEni
@HistoryFromEni 2 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your perspective! The term 'superpower' can be interpreted in various ways, and China's influence in global economics, technology, and politics is substantial. Regarding 'BCE' and 'CE,' these terms are commonly used in academic and historical contexts to be inclusive of all cultures and beliefs. I appreciate your feedback and will consider it for future videos. Thanks for watching!

Uh...it's all fair and well to have the machine. But knowing what to do to USE IT was a different thing. Polish mathematicians had already done the most work into this. And it wasn't possession of a machine that was crucial. It was the construction of the "Colossus" computer that provided "deciphering"
@HistoryFromEni
@HistoryFromEni 2 ай бұрын
You're absolutely right that the Polish mathematicians' work was crucial in the early stages of cracking the Enigma code, and the development of the Colossus computer was indeed a significant advancement. The capture of the Enigma machine was a pivotal moment that, combined with these efforts, contributed to the Allies' success. It's fascinating how many pieces had to come together to achieve this incredible feat in codebreaking!

Did you know that FDR's policies included goon squads that were sent out to destroy farm products? And if the farmer resisted, would it result in force being used against the farmer and family?
@HistoryFromEni
@HistoryFromEni 3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! FDR's New Deal did involve measures like the Agricultural Adjustment Act, which reduced crop surplus by paying farmers to cut production. While controversial, widespread use of force against farmers isn't well-documented. If you have sources on this, We'd be interested to learn more. History is complex, and different perspectives help us understand it better.
