He is a great story teller - one of the best (I think) that we hosted! He was a natural 👌

Hilarious story. You can feel the nervous tension in the passenger compartment of that aircraft. 😊😂 I didn't realize Greg Gumble was so good a story teller.

I saw him give a speech back in 2002. He was the best of the group, which included Elizabeth Dole, Bill Clinton and Terry Bradshaw

Yea he seems like such a natural! Hilarious too 😂

Wow, that’s a star-studded lineup too! We had Greg up at our annual fundraising event in 2011 and these are a few of his clips. He definitely gave a memorable address!

The mates, skipper and engineers were in my union, Dist. 2 Marine Engineers Beneficial Assn. The Fitz sank 1975, song written 1976. I started there September 1979. The song, the pride in the union and the tradition had already started by then. In later years, I had occasion to sail on other, old and older ships there. It has been a stronger and stronger sense within me, that this kind of an ending for all of us out there, is not very far away. I probably am here, writing about this, not knowing how often my luck held. May all 29 on the Fitz be enjoying their time on Fiddler’s Green…
