OMG this takes me back. I freaking LOVE SEA hotel buffet breakfasts, and those in Jakarta rank among the best IMHO. Le Meridien was my hotel of choice back in the day, their buffet was legendary!

Yummy video 😊😊😊 I have been to Cicada a couple of times with my Thai wife,and I love the food,and we also listened to the band named Plumrang,super nice way of spending a few hours in a ver nice place,cheers.

Yes I stay at the Pullman Reef Hotel a few times. Very nice hotel. Great location. I would either choose this hotel or Hilton across the road.

I had breakfast at crowne plaza in coogee beach for $32. Food was amazing. It's what you'd expect in a high class $40+ breakfast (except for no Barista coffee). You can get continental for $18 which can include Salami and Smoked salmon and passion fruit. Amazing Value.

Hunter street is my favourite, Laksa King is excellent as well. Another really great Laksa is at Java Hut in Randwick.

A vegetarian/vegan should have a good identification what can eat.. missing the vegan options like pork sausages.. in vegan... i like a lot breakfasts i would like to be well served also like the others

From lHR to BKK, flight delayed 2 hrs. Made us stay on the plane! Finally took off. Had a meal, and complimentary drink. Later I went to the gallery for another drink ....curtains shut tight. Went back to my seat and pressed the button. "Can I have a whisky and coke"? Answer...".but you already had one!" FFS!

This is not good. I had same experience more than 20 years ago on British airways with a cranky cabin crew complaining when I wanted a 2nd drink. I have never flown with BA again....

I have only flown Aircalin this 1 time in Business Class so not sure who the service or food is like in Economy. I hope to travel with them again later this year so will try economy

I had no idea Fiji airways had that quality. Last I remember is the chicken sandwiches that make you throw up by the time you land.

This food was in Fiji Business Class. maybe they still serve those chicken sandwiches in Economy. I hope to fly Fiji Airways Economy this year.

@@mteokay1246 Calm down! Fiji Airways served nasty chicken sandwiches all of the time. It was horrendous. Just recently my friend flew out to Fiji and they had the worst breakfast ever. It tasted like it was boiled! How do you mess up eggs!?! For dinner, they had teriyaki chicken, and it was SMELLY! Yikes, they sent me pics and said they will never fly Fiji again. And mind you this was in business class. The few times I flew to Fiji was also in business class. I'm a tall guy, so their economy seats which are pathetic, would never suit my needs.

NowGetThere Food I don't know which QANTAS Flight you took. I reckon the crew may have been drunk when they served you that meal. I have had hundreds of flights in Business and cattle class on QANTAS, and subsequent the inception of Joyce; the food was shocking. On a Flight from London (Heathrow) to Melbourne, not only did I encounter a bloody arrogant and nasty crew member, all I got for breakfast between the Singapore leg and Melbourne was a MUFFIN. Nothing more. That was the last time ever that I flew with QANTAS, and up until that time, between 1962 and 2009, I would hate to hazard a guess at the number of flights I had with that lot. I switched to British Airways, and the American airlines and by far; BA came out tops. On a Flight from Melbourne to London via Singapore on BA; every flight I have had with them has been OUTSTANDING. The cabin crew were polite and accomodating, in between normal meals, the crew set up an al la carte stand in the galley, with a leg of Roast Beef and Roast Lamb and hot bread rolls for the taking; and that was in cattle class. On a return flight from London to Melbourne via Singapore and Sydney, due to a stuff up in my booking (courtesy of Qantas) when approximately three hours out of Heathrow; an announcement was made that we would be an hour late into Sydney. I asked the Stewardess if they could radio ahead and reschedule my connecting flight to Melbourne. The young lady spoke with the Captain who responded by informing the stewardess to inform me that he had done so and my connecting flight was rescheduled. The Captain offered his apologies and asked theStewardess to upgrade me to Business Class for the rest of the flight. It wasn't even the fault of BA that the stuff up occurred. It was Qantas that stuffed up not having taken into account that Daylight Saving had started in the UK and Daylight Saving ended in Victoria. To make matters worse, after Joyce took over, he changed the rules on the Frequent Flyer programme which say over 300,000 FF Points disappear from my account. BUGGER QANTAS!

I mention in the video that the flight was from Jakarta to Sydney. I also mentioned that I used to be critical of the food in Qantas Business class but things changed and the food has become quite good as shown in the video

I always enjoy my inflight meal whenever i fly. I have flown with Garuda Indonesia, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Etihad, Emirates, Lufthansa, KLM, Air France, Air Europa, Delta, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, United, Air Canada, Latam, LAN to all 6 continents by the way... I am not kind of hard to please person 😁

We love eating at Cicada, every Thailand vacation, we are always visiting Hua Hin, Yum Yum Pork is called Moo Ping in that. I'm glad you are enjoying the food.

Awesome. I did know that pork on the stick is called Moo Ping but I call it Yum Yum Pork but it is Yum Yum. That was my first visit to Hua Hin and I love that town. Can't wait to get back Hope we can all get back to Thailand again soon. Stay safe!
