Yeah John has AS. I think it's progressed to the point where the vertebrae in his neck have probably fused, or are close to, meaning he has no more movement there from stiffness.

Also increased daily practice time especially at early stages adds dramatically to the results. Once you have most of the techniques down and you have endurance then yeah you can get away with 15 minutes a day
