Amazing how generous our Lord is to send to us people like John Lennox. May our Lord keep him in perfect peace. We are now doing a study on Daniel and this was just what I needed to have a proper context. Thank you!

What a glorious modern day champion for God who has not retired to his rose garden but continues to battle contemporary revered atheism. We live in a biblically illiterate world dismissed as legends and who is this God anyway? Dr John Lennox thank you for explaining the background why we revere conformity, so not like our God of complexity containing His goodness and governance of humanity. Daniel reveals prophetic world history. I would suggest we are at the very feet of the great idol’s feet of clay and iron timeline. Study more.

Can someone point me in the direction of a Christian defense of the historicity of the book of Daniel and the claims of Darius the Mede. A google search says that Darius of Mede isn’t known in secular history and that there is no space in the historical timeline for Darius the Mede between the verified Kings Belshazzar and Cyrus the Great. Look.at sll the scandals in the Catholic Church. .Theres a reason that many have left the Church because the Church became an abuser.
