I prefer Hallandale Beach Florida beautiful beaches and restaurants and Gulf Stream Park Horse racing track, it’s the biggest in Florida, and Pegasus And Dragon Statue it’s the third biggest statue in the United States, Atlantic Village beautiful shopping mall and full with restaurants and nightlife, Big Easy Casino the second biggest casino in Florida, and your in the city that’s in between everything in south Florida, my favorite city in Florida perfect location.❤☀️

I recently relocated here and I hate it! Is like purgatory. I live by downtown and I thought it would be better, is horrible! Shootings and craziness during special events. Sad to be in the United States of America and I don’t feel safe 🤦♂️

I have the cali model but the plus model my living room and dining room are in one big area plus my kitchen cabinets have knobs on them but I have the exact home my layout is same except my patio is separate from dining area

It is. We hope it gets better sooner rather than later. New construction helps because things are built to the latest code , so insurance isn’t horrible

Please be aware that Viera Builders does a terrible job at building these houses. We just moved into the neighborhood and we have had literally every problem possible. Roof leaks, plumping issues, electrical issues, garage door issues. irrigation system problem and so much more. This is a huge headache. You'll pay a high premium for low quality grade materials and cheap labor.

Dude. For a realtor you make me cringe. I have watched a few of your videos and you make cringy uneducated statements for being a realtor. Ie you looked at the breaker panel and called them GFCi breaker, wrong. Those are mostly arc fault breakers. In your other video you mentioned the insulated garage door would keep the garage cooler. Dude, its a unheated and cooled space. Ie no insulation in the garage overhead or outside walls. That insulated garage door may help with outside noises. I hope people dont follow your guidance.

I appreciate you, mate. I am gung-ho about moving from Seattle to the Space Coast. Kids are game, but wife needs some convincing. Can you recommend a very walkable-to-restaurants, upscale area that has colonial/craftsman style homes that is commutable and with good schools?

I've lived in Orlando for over 40 years; the only one of these five communities I consider good is Longwood. And Longwood is outside of the top 20 areas I would recommend.

I just want a 2 bedroom with a bath in the master bedroom and the other bath in the main house……I don’t want no pool …. Just a good patio to put furniture on. Kitchen with island where I can put stools , living room , ceramic floors in kitchen, hard wood floors in the rest of the house …..the bedrooms I would like carpet and just a one car garage.

I'm moving in a cali next month. I don't like how there's no handles on the cabinets. Doors have handles for a reason, so do cabinets. So why none? Upon moving in I'm installing my own handles

I’ve seen some DR Horton communities install handles. They do different things in different parts of the country and in different communities. They seem to keep things pretty basic in places they’re trying to keep the price point low. That being said, you’d think installing some cabinet pulls wouldn’t break the bank for them!

theyre an easy install. we got black, 5in long, 24 ct boxes from lowes for about $25 each. i also grabbed a 2pc plastic template set that fit nicely against the corners and edges of the cabinets/drawers for easy placement. i drilled holes and installed handles in my whole house within an hour

@@kaykay1kcReporting back. I moved in last week. Handles are installed. However I noticed with the extra weight added to the cabinet, it tends to “swing open” the rest of the way if you open it partially. This is annoying because it hits the wall. I’m wondering if you had the same issue?

@@professorjack2099 i checked mine and it appears that around the midway point of being open, they swing outward or vice versa with them closing. i dont know if that's caused by the handles' weight or the doors themselves.

We like your video, and we did go to Adams. We did not choose the preferred lender but what happen to us was a nightmare: Before we purchased, we verified with salesman Alex Lapine that we could use our Space Coast Credit Union. Alex said that we could use our credit union. As deceased wounded warrior and honorable veterans' family we applied for and qualified for military hero's loan with our credit union. Our hero's loan was approved, credit union provided multiple preapproval letter to builder, we locked in our rate, credit unions appraiser reached out to Alex to gain entry to home and appraisal done on 03/20/2024. The only item needed was the CO certificate of occupancy which was delayed to due electric company needing to install line. Co was finally issued on 4/17/2024. That is no way the fault of our credit union. Credit union reached out to Adams for copy the "CO" which was only item needed to close on 4/30/2024. Adams home office refused to provide CO and stated they did not know we were using credit union. They demanded we change to their preferred lender. Their preferred lender requested we pay $6000 in points to get an interest rate that even higher than our hero's loan rate. We did not have $6000. We were then threatened by salesmen Adams home and his boss that we close with on time with preferred lender or be sued for $25K We had to close with Adams preferred lender and now have almost $500 more a month mortgage and their preferred lender caused us to close 2 days late. I do not know if Adams main Corp office knows of this activity or would condone this behavior to any military family. As a senior citizen this was our first NEW house ever. Our financial institution lender wrote Adams office and explained we have been working with them since 09/2023 and they have also spoke to Alex Lapine. Adams office still refuse to let us use our hero's loan.

From my limited time in Miami and based on the feedback from people from Miami, Miami traffic is much worse! There are lots of great places in Central Florida for young professionals. The key is finding a place that best aligns with your lifestyle. A good balance that limits your time spent on your daily commute to work and also gives you lots of opportunities for the social elements you like. The open concept is very popular right now. There are some floor plans that give a bit more separation from the kitchen and living room. Another option would be looking in some of the communities developed in the late 90’s - early 2000’s. They tend to have a more traditional floor plan with some formal living / dining areas and kitchens that have some sort of partition from the living spaces.
