Hej, Mitt vardagsrum och hall är i olika höjder (ca 5-7mm). Hur gör man för att få bägge på samma nivå? Finns det tjockare underlägg som kan köpa för att höja ena golvet? Eller ska man nöja sig med olikheten?

Here, I'm adding in helpful narration. "Welcome to Pergo Flooring's Vinyl Flooring Installation video! We're going to show you just how easy it is to install Pergo flooring on your own. In fact, it's so easy we can just demonstrate it for you while you listen to this music. That loops over. And over. And over again. Because every video should have a soundtrack that sounds like it's from an eighties driving school video. Those were the days, weren't they, folks? Here's our professional installer, whose name we have to keep a secret because of his high level of expertise. Just know... he's a MASTER. Okay? It says it on his shirt. MASTER. That's all you need to know even though we're sure you can handle this installation easily at home. Now, first of all, you'll need to have your packages of flooring sitting in a room. On a gray concrete floor. Got that? Also, just so you know, at the time of filming it was around 18-30 degrees outside. Fahrenheit? Celsius? Who knows? We're metric AND imperial here. Just know it's around that temperature. Also it was around the 48th hour, and we started at around 1 o'clock. AM? PM? Who knows. But we started at one, okay? Just so you know. Also, in case the chemists among you are wondering, here's an instrument we use to identify the makeup of the floor and how much of it there is. In this case, we discovered it was cement. You can tell because that's the chemical formula for it. We think. Probably. Anyway, what does that mean on the gauge? WHO KNOWS. Just know that whatever happens, cement is smaller than CM by around 2,5 (we would have used a decimal place but there were commas on the gauge so we use a comma; what does that mean, you ask? WHO KNOWS. Cement is also smaller than CM by around 0,5%. Got it? That should be incredibly clear even if you're not a Pergo Flooring Master. Try petting the floor. Sometimes floors like to be pet a little bit before installing the flooring. If you find a crack, be sure to measure it. Ours was greater than 2mm. Wide? Deep? Long? Not sure. Just sweep it. Should be good. Now, we're not going to tell you what we're using here over this crack. Not what it is, where to get it, how to mix it or how to apply it. Because that is MASTER LEVEL KNOWLEDGE. You do not have the skills. Trust us. We are 99,2% sure, or < 1,8% unsure. Whatever it is, spread it on there, then using a vacuum cleaner, hoover it up again. It may be helpful to chant during this time. Just a little chanting. Here are some tools. You need the three tools on the left in the box. Everything else? Optional. Mostly it was just stuff we had hanging out in the top drawer. We had a Werther's but the key grip ate it. Something about the stress of the looping background music. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT LOOK AT THE BOARD. DO NOT LOOK AT IT!!!! Only a MASTER can look at the board. If you look at it, bad things will happen. So just do the rest of this installation with your eyes closed. Otherwise the board will disappear. The MASTER is dissatisfied with this board. He takes it offscreen to do something to it. It's fine after that. You won't know anyway; your eyes will still be closed. Next, measure your room one way. Which way? It doesn't matter. Just measure it. Then you'll need to put a thing down on the cement that looks a little like the things you put under your office chair when you need to roll it smoothly on the carpet. What is it? Why is it there? WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO KNOW. Here's a little graphic with some stuff on it that you ne-- Anyway, open this box. OBSERVE. THIS PLANK HAS EDGES. One. Two. Edges. They are straight. Now, cut off these gray strips. We won't tell you why. Just GUESS. (Hint: we'll put the board like this without really showing you the lack of strips so you can easily figure it out). In possibly one of the only actually useful moments of instruction, we'll show you now that the gap between the wall and the board needs to be two millimeters. You're welcome. (Feel free to assume therefore that all temperatures we note are Celsius. Right?) Okay, now measure thirty mil-- uh centi -- um inch-- measure 30 *mumble* from one end -- any end -- of the board. Put a really dark pencil mark in the middle of the board. Now cut along that line, using a T-square, with a knife. Don't have a T square? Please observe the helpful graphic where we display a method we call "winging it;" be sure to-- Score! We didn't mean cut! Fooled you. *Score* down the plank, and now that you've done that, just bend at the score line and the board will magically break along the line. Because that ALWAYS HAPPENS. You can use the edge of a table as shown in the gr-- Now join the boards together. We've circled the part where they're joined, helpfully. Just do that. Like that. How do they connect? What do the separate parts look like? Never you mind. Just make it look like that. Here, here's a graphic that lets you know that it's 20-30 degrees cel-- Here. Just look at these. Have some angles. And arrows. Here's a graphic. If you stare at it long enough you may come to understand that we numbered bricks in a wall or that it's the order of the bo-- Now for this next part you'll need some string. Attach the string at one end of your boards (any end) and pull it down to the other end. As you can see by the dotted line, the string is straight. When you're stretching out your string, imagine that dotted line. Try to follow the imaginary line. If you don't get your string on the line, your flooring may be ruined. Sorry. Okay so we're going to make this REALLY CLEAR. OKAY?? ARE YOU LISTENING? Your string MUST NOT GO BELOW THE DOTTED LINE. EVER. Only on the dotted line, which you can tell is the correct positioning of the string because there is a checkmark. Why are you crying? Wait... come back... There's more video. It has music, and helpful graphi--"

How do you get rid of the gaps? This video is worthless. Pergo laminate is hard enough with all the hammering needed but the vinyl is worse. Fragile and sometimes no amount of hammering will close the gaps.
