Thanks for this. I was recently on a roadtrip and pulled into this parkinglot to adjust my GPS and route. I never got out of the car but I was fascinated by the building, the level of decay, and wondered what was its story.

People, if there is anything that you are hearing and have heard, you better ask God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost to show you what you are hearing is true or false! Ask God to show you the truth! Ask God to show you what you are doing is wrong! Pray this prayer: “Lord God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Ghost, if there is anything that I’m hearing and have heard is true or false, show it to me. Show me the truth. Show me what I’m doing wrong. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen.” Share this! Read and annotate the Holy Bible, and share this comment!

If you see a guy who lives in Hawthorne Nevada with fried up teeth and missing teeth, ask him if he smokes crank. If he says “no,” ask him “why is your teeth fried up, and why is your teeth missing?” Share this!

"TURN YOUR RADIO OFF" LOL I remember he talked about all the equipment he had set up around the place. It's exactly as I pictured it. Talking to the country from this remote outpost.

From an article written by Riley Kessinger: "George I. Benny would purchase the River Inn property in a bankruptcy auction in 1979. The fraud associated with the River Inn, along with that of a long list of other properties, would eventually lead Benny to a thirty-year sentence in prison. At the bankruptcy auction, Benny purchased the property formerly known as Lawton’s Hot Springs for $ 2,070,000 and declared that it would from now on be called the “River Palace.” The creation of the River Palace was not Benny’s first foray into the world of failed real estate, as he would also be convicted for fraud in connection with owning the master-planned neighborhood known as the Double Diamond Ranch. Benny began a “lavish spending program” that would upgrade the River Inn’s structure to the massive one it has today, but would eventually land Benny $16 million in debt once the “project was finally called to a halt” (Kling). Benny claimed he was investing his own money into each project when, in reality, he was not, and he would end up being sentenced to thirty years in prison for fraud and racketeering (Voyles)."

Blythe looks like a nice city but if you live in it, it’s a fucking hell. Neighbors try to poison everyones trees. Cops only treat various races good and theres not walmart or no entertainment i havent even heard a crime in 1 year because the population sucks ass

I used to travel a lot for my consulting business. Anyway, this hotel reminds me of a funny story. Somewhere in Arizona I was making a sales call with the owner of the company I worked for. We checked into this roadside Motel, put our stuff down in the rooms and went out for the day. When we returned, the Hotel we had checked into, now looked like this... 'what the heck'??? Well, my boss thought it'd be funny to take me to an old derelict hotel like this one, nearby, as a joke. I was tripping for a few minutes till I looked back and saw him rolling on the ground laughing. It was funny, then, now and forever😁😁

That old Schaefer machine you passed...... about a year ago when I went to that place, someone had pulled out the fan and condenser coil and laid it on the floor. The breeze coming through the room with causing the fan to rotate on its own. I took video, it was very eerie! The restaurant and casino next door to the motel is good for exploring, also. The newer casino on the other side of the road burned down several years ago.

I have been for so long trying to figure out what this building was. Probably a quick conversation with a local would give me an answer but i dont want to bother anybody. On google maps it says theres a lake tami behind it obviously long gone but that little ramp behind the building had me thinking it was maybe some sort of place to buy bait or something. All I could find on the internet was that this land was owned by jack harvard and he made the lake for peddle boats and fishing.

As many of you know, Art Bell died Apr 13, 2018. Most of those "antennas" are towers for his giant loop antenna. When he first installed it he had a lot of trouble with , for lack of better terms, static electricity that would feed back into his equipment. He had a lot of problems trying to get it grounded so as not to harm his equipment. He was a lot of fun to listen to.
