Very very impressive. What kind of paper are you using? As i have noticed the cheap origami paper available in Europe is either to thin or too thick and not with best qualities when folded multiple times
@urologysurgicaltrainingchannel2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comments and questions. In Japan, the manufacturers of origami paper used for training are all different, depending on the preference of the practising doctor. I use origami paper from the manufacturer ‘Ehime’. The ease of folding varies slightly depending on the colour of the origami paper and the thickness of the paint. www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%A8%E3%83%92%E3%83%A1%E7%B4%99%E5%B7%A5-100%E8%89%B2%E6%8A%98%E7%B4%99-7-5cm%E8%A7%92-200%E6%9E%9A%E5%85%A5-EN-100C-02%C3%97S4P/dp/B0C7Z1GJ4J/ref=sr_1_2?__mk_ja_JP=%E3%82%AB%E3%82%BF%E3%82%AB%E3%83%8A&crid=15RB42BZ5K1G5&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.ekN3qyT0DzyskIOrdoU-UnzTRlIb_znJsZqqmd3kZ_vLh-ux_K0lwaY6_If2f4u3GjnlRMBUlQocZqnluFwJhO_8_Q9fz44UTzyuhLzWi7k6dHEPyhGpgyl0UEoFmY3If7PYt7inzBPn5RyYpMNJ2_IE1ftZt3mUbrpua6QTO76X3gf8um8uGYGLZxJAIZdCzZIeA8-cU2uyV9TZKZR_NX4aEQFwY73xTUBXsn32MFmAsD6VxTdganvanYlwM1v54JFpc1qWnZ2JbmHFjNTcW9BK8bOiuYAndZ0_e6jGAPQ.jlJQ4cII94XxsN0cDuj-UbnHQbbVKS7ox65X3k_1bsw&dib_tag=se&keywords=7.5cm%2B%E6%8A%98%E3%82%8A%E7%B4%99&qid=1731939759&s=office-products&sprefix=7.5cm%2B%E6%8A%98%E3%82%8A%E7%B4%99%2Coffice-products%2C169&sr=1-2&th=1

Hello, thank you for your detailed videos - they are quite impressive. The Da Vinci origami is especially impressive. Have you every used ArtiSential before? It is world’s first hand-held articulating device. There is another great video of someone using ArtiSential to perform origami. That device may make it easier / faster to perform origami! (And of course better surgery results, faster recovery for patients, shorter operation times, etc).
I did not mean it as a disrespect, what i said is that i can do this fairly quick.😅 sry if u understood something else

Hello! I'm Beatriz from Chile, seventh year medical student. With some colleages we are trying to implement origami laparoscopic training in our university. As it is not common in Chile to know how to create a paper crane, and it is also uncommon to train laparoscopy with origami there isn't official training material such as videos or tutorials. Our hope was to be able to show a video to surgery residents and I think your video fits our necessity. Do you think it would be possible to use it? I look forward to your response I didn't know another way to contact you. Amazing skills!

What type of paper do you use?
@urologysurgicaltrainingchannel11 ай бұрын
Thank you for your question, we use 7.5 cm square origami paper. It is commonly purchased and available in Japan, but if you don't have it, you can practise on any paper of the same or close to the same size.
Sorry I didn't make it in English. This time it was an announcement that I would be giving a talk at a conference in Japan, about BipolEP, a procedure to enucleate the prostate, so the content is different from a talk about origami cranes or laparoscopy. It was just a simple announcement. I am specialized in transurethral enucleation of the prostate as well as laparoscopy, and if Dr. Iurii Mykoliuk is interested, I can send him the video of the surgery. I am afraid that there are no new laparoscopic topics recently, but I would like to make a video if I have something interesting to share.

@@urologysurgicaltrainingchannel I'm a thoracic surgeon, but I'm impressed with your videos about training in laparoscopy, as well as we also doing VATS surgery. In some of your video subtitles are available, some other i can understand the context
@urologysurgicaltrainingchannel Жыл бұрын
I am very glad that you are interested in this channel and its videos. I think the reason why it is difficult to understand in this video is because I haven't organized the automatic Japanese subtitles part. I would like to improve it when I have time. I'm sorry that I didn't give that much thought to this issue, as it was intended to be a simple announcement.

Thanks Noda-sensei! Greetings from Mexico I want to start to practice doing cranes laparoscopically, which paper size do you use? Do you have any preference in using Maryland or grasper forceps? Thanks!

I did not answer your other question. I will answer it. The type of forceps you use should be the forceps you want to improve on. I have a Maryland type ligature in actual surgery and use it a lot. It is interesting to practice and experiment with different types of forceps.

Sorry I don't have a video of the operation at hand. I am not doing anything special, but I am very conscious of the shape of the tip of the resectoscope, the beak, and the image of entering a narrow gap with the tip.
