simple answer is yes. You can verify it by plugging alpha = 1. However, unlike definition of ordinary derivative, the definition of fractional derivative is not unified yet. There are couple of definitions of fractional order such as GL, Caputo etc.

Very good. Following this I noticed that random_integers() which people had been casually showing in other videos is considered deprecated, and it is recommended to just use randint() in new code!

Very good stuff!! Just a comment on the .ndim property, we normally would say "ndim" like a dim light, not the $0.10 American coin. Even more importantly, on the function names, min(), rhymes with pin, win or thin, sounds here a bit too much like mean(), which rhymes with bean, dean and clean.

This result is incorrect, misleading. "In recent years" is about 100 years or so. I very recommend to search the literature. Unfortunately also there are a lot of misconception. Only the very beginning of the video is correct, where it is mentioned RL, Caputo, GL.

@@sheikhhasan5532 He mentioned, correctly, that there are 3 definitions. After that we see an idea, an analogy, which is motivating, but not a correct proof. He made calculation without precise definition. Not my task to derive the correct result. As a good starting point I suggest wikipedia.

First of all, I didn't present anything from my own. I mentioned I didn't follow any definition. I just gave an example that Lacroix derived in 1819. You can check the book references I have listed in the description box. If you can prove Lacroix's example is wrong/ or find an error, I will be happy to learn from you :)

Sure, I'm happy to help. Where are you stuck? Did you already install Anaconda? If so, install the packages from an anaconda navigator to make sure you're installing them in the right env. It takes time to install packages. For my case, NumPy was installed, so it showed the package already installed. Otherwise, It would take a few min.

Now I have downloaded python windows 10 (64 bit) . And double click on it, while installing to the final step it stucks and waiting saying that setting up packages..

@@selvakumark5064 if you download and install anaconda in your system, you don't need to install python separately. To install Anaconda, follow the video. If you stuck anywhere please let me know.
