SF Mayor Breed campaigned as a moderate as well as numerous supervisors. Then, the mayor secretly implemented DEI program that created Defund-Police, Gender Ideology, Abolishing Algebra for 8th grade, school name change, upcoming statue removal. DEI has dictatorship authority over each department and shoves its agenda through. No transparency.

15 years and your OWN house, this is very peaceful except 2-stroke motorcycles and burnin' the tires at 3 AM and three or more dogs get a little out of control~ OAKLAND was constant shopping carts being pushed down the street, stealing your batteries and tires~ was Shot just around the Corner from our house downtown Oakland~ loved the Bay Area but was sure polluted and Crowded~ was a mechanic at parker and telegraph for a couple of years, one can make it if you Try~

LIES.LIES.LIES. I swear you people have no issue LYING about San Francisco and safety. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes online to see san francisco is safer than it's ever been. Sure it's dirty, has an absurd number of homeless and drug use is very prevalent in one 10 block radius downtown but violent crime and homicides have declined tremendously over the decades. There's used to be gangs everywhere...all gone. Violent criminals...effectively gone. Homicides... no worse than any other city on its worst day. LOOK IT UP FOR YOURSELF. Don't just come to san francisco and specifically walk one neighborhood and claim SAN FRANCISCO is not safe. LIAR. You should be ashamed of yourself. Instead of looking for click how about helping out by doing something other than being a hateful disingenuous person. Get lost creep. 42yr old san francisco native here. San Francisco safest it's ever been. Get off your lazy butt and just do a quick internet search for SF in the 80s, 90s and 2000's. You'll ve shocked. Grow up.

If there was funding for the maintenance it would be done. But people here actually enjoy being secluded from the city. I love it. We live in Lakeport. I would not trade. We live along canal that goes to the lake. Lakeport is not like Clearlake, lower lack. Schools here are amazing the staff actually cares about the students with disabilities.

Congratulations! I also did the Whitney day trip and here are some things I noticed from what you described. 1. Acclimatize for a few days (you mentioned this). 2. You left the portal too late. The Sierra's are very dry and the afternoon sun is extremely dehydrating. I left at 11pm and got back at 2pm. You want to be headed down in the morning so you are an the easy part when the sun is high. 3. Electrolytes are better than sugar, but putting them in your water means you get some every time you have a sip. 4. Be super hydrated when you start out. This helps with the altitude. 5. For some reason, I find jerky incredibly nourishing when I hike. Cliff bars make me thirsty (but I still bring them). On Whitney, I only had water with electrolytes and Cliff bars. 6. Box steps is good for training. The stairmaster only goes up while box steps will help train for the decent as well.

6 hours from Sac to Whitney? Guessing there was traffic? I’m in LA and can get there in a little less than half of that time to hike in rough terrain such as traipsing up rock and forestry, this gives you a good idea how taxing elevated climbs and ascents can be.

There was a detour on 395 near Tahoe area so I had to go through Nevada and come back in California. I practiced hiking in Tahoe area before. I also did Mt. Lassen hike before this. Mt. Whitney is a beast on its own.

Like Donald Trump himself said, San Francisco was such an awesome, first rate city 15 years ago. I'm sure that Gavin Newsom and Kamala Harris appreciate Trump's endorsement since he was the mayor back then and she was the district attorney.

Too much freedom and no God is a letal mixture. Since 1968 when the "children of flowers" gather together in Frisco, there has been a worstening events in people's lives. The lgbt++ and more has its birth in this city where people forgot everything about God. They should go back to the pioneers that reached the West coast bringing a life full of respect, love, understanding and generosity. None of these you can find in this big city any more God bless us all ❤️

Depressing. First instincts are that they don't allow or encourage housing units to be integrated into their downtown. That's usually a key indicator of whether or not there will be life in a downtown outside of normal office hours. I lived in Stockton as a young kid, in the late 1960's and early 70's. Went to Madison Elementary. Good times.

@@johnhatchel9681 if he would have gone on the other side of the crosstown freeway his thoughts might be a little different. Stockton has so much potential with a lot of great residents. Unfortunately, corrupt city leader have squandered opportunity for many years. If you look to the south Manteca and Lathrop have been pulling key businesses that attract visitors something Stockton leaders have failed to do.

You can buy buildings for 90 percent off. That is why all the construction projects have been halted. Why spend 1.5 billion on a new building when you can get one for 90 million

I like your comparison because it's easy to track and compare but cars are a money pit. I get 45k miles out of my tires on my truck. I do oil changes every 5k miles. Brake jobs are expensive now because nobody resurfaces the rotors anymore, you end up buying new rotors with pads. My water pump went out and the dealership wanted $2k. Insurance is getting expensive, my state has crazy high car property tax.

Not "THERE ARE"...whole flight is a quality issues. Point 1. Someday it will burst open mid air and I have no doubt in it... Point 2:: pilots are incompetent always it will be not less than 2 hrs delay for international flight to land... Food is horrible...seats, system, charging stations, remote, lights, switches, bathroom latches everything brokem when we flew in 2023. Everything that you see and touch are BROKEN. SEATS RIPPED OFF METAL PARTS COMING UP FROM THEM. Iverhead cabin door broke in mid air, bassinett for babies fell off after one of this family put the baby in... luckily, father was quick enough to grab the baby... MY KID LITERALLY PUKES If I take the flight name. It's a flying Garbage in short. Unless new flights come in full fledge and accessible from all International places, flying this flight is dangerous...
