Could someone please explain to me why the suspension arms are angled as opposed to dead vertical in a Christie suspension system? Does this offer some sort of advantage that I'm not seeing?

question Lots of great tips, but I can't seem to use hot glue very well, do you use a special wood hot glue? I use a good wood glue but that calls for clamping and takes a long time.

Not really a tutorial when you don't provide dimensions, measurements and helpful tips. Still...I did enjoy seeing what all can be done with popsicle sticks. The tool/supply list was nice.

I personally would have used thicker clear plastic to secure the outside for the resin. The stingrays could be set higher by using clear stems. I really enjoyed watching this and this a great project to start with.

A project that I want to do is for my boyfriend‘s desk at work. I would like to do a rock climbing diorama with a replica of his side-by-side razor climbing up a rocks or a Mountain. He goes rock climbing in his side-by-side as his hobby and I think it would be a really awesome piece of art on his desk with something he loves.

Just a quick tip if no one has mentioned this before…. Pastels are a great way to colour and shade polymer clay. It will need to be sealed (carefully) with a compatible varnish after, (For example Rust-Oleum Varathane ultimate polyurethane - water based) but the effects can be stunning 😉
