I noticed that this game's textures will pop up and out when aiming. the only other game that has this issue is Darkest of days. It can be seen clearly in the intro for pearl, the dock will not load properly then when you get close, the textures will suddenly appear. it's jarring...and takes me out of the game

I have played both version of this game English and translated by EA in Japan. The Japanese version is completely different. Because Almost All of lines of Japanese are deleted or replaced to other lines. All the lines about emperor and country are deleted for some reason. idk what it was...

some tips for those who bought the master collection and feel the game differently - You can run and shot while holding the shot and prone buttons, in the manual is detailed (L1 + R1 to open the pause menu and see the manual) - The English American version and the Japanese is at 60 hz unlike the European versions, which is at 50hz, which will give a lot of input lag and feel the game slower in general.

Additionally, I recommend changing the controls with steam input so that R2 is the fire button and X is the prone button, but that is individual preference.

I think i may have gotten this years ago. But one thing i will say. The controls is trash. I think only forgiving part is the atmosphere is gritty which is cool. But its obvious the focus is cutscenes and not so much solid controls. MGS3 i think is the best in the series of MGS. Though best game is MG2 Solid Snake due to revolutionary introduction to stealth ideas of sound.

I think the controls are rather nice, they're just tight and somewhat punishing. There's a few things I dislike though, namely how difficult it is to suss out parameters on things like Snake's auto-aim. I think it needs to be twice as good in some scenarios because expecting players to master the run-and-gun secret technique is a little too much.

My first playthrough of the game with this and I killed it by having it jump over the ledge multiple times, lol. Found out the hard way they Stun you even they landed though and died the first time.

I forgot to say i beat this game on All 4 modes i got 100% of the main game done i play sinlge player yep it not that hard realy u can beat this game on All 4 modes and get 100% of the main gamr done yep i know i did it ir was fun i still have and play this fun game even today yep this is my All time favorite game to play today for sure 100% 😊
