HI, looking for the Nell Forrest books by Isla Evans. Google fail. Where can I get paperback copies?
@SistersinCrimeAustralia3 жыл бұрын
Maybe call our book shop partner Sun Bookshop in Yarraville, Vic? See if they can help? Or message to Isla herself on social media?? Hope that helps!

I love this book! The beautiful cover and intriguing name is what made me spot it from across the aisle! The author really transports you to 1946 with detailed descriptions of the different surroundings, characters and fashions. Highly recommend!

I bought this book a few months ago when I realised one of the victims in it is a family member that I have been seeking information on for quite some time (White Iris). We have an annual family reunion and I took it for the family to have a look at. I haven't read a book in this style before and absolutely love it. I am not sure if you are answering questions on here, however I was wondering how you seek the information from archives? As a side note, my Sisters in Crime bookmark matches your cover perfectly!

For years I have been grateful to have discovered Kerry Greenwood and her book series. All of her writing is enjoyable, interesting, giving bits of Australian history I have not previously known. The characters are well drawn, surprising and become "people I know". Having visited her continent once many years ago, I have specific places I would love to visit if I ever get the chance to return. Plus.. she loves cats!
