Well tbh dont know so much about lacrosse but hockey is based on fast turns and sprints yea, but u skate that's the difference you know? I can easily sprint 400m with skates and i dont get so tired, but i'm totally dead after 400m fast sprint while running. And the fast turns just make it much more tougher. But yea i don't know about lacrosse i think the field in lacrosse is bigger and u can walk a bit, but yeah dunno.... just saying.

u cant stick lift, and tackle like in hockey ;D.... Longest stick u can use is i think 101cm or 103cm. Main differences are kinda obvious i guess u can see that :D u play with a ball and goalies don't have sticks or gloves. U cant score with a foot and non accidental head play is not allowed. And i bet u wont believe it but this is the hardest team sport in world, cuz its based on fast sprints and turns. Those are some minor differences.I wanna see this sport grow in n.america so we get good WC.

Just like hockey you have 5 players + goalie on the pitch(normally 2 defs, 1 center, 2 wings similar to hockey). Im surpriced that floorball is not a big hit in the US because it is a nice game itself and also can be used as practice for hockeyteams. I saw a comment that it is not allowed to body check, and this is partially true. It is much easier to get boarding and elbowing calls, but you can tackle shoulder to shoulder as hard as you want on the open field(open ice).

Hi, norwegian floorball player here. It is not allowed to lift stick, in fact no contact on the stick is allowed. If this happens there will be a slashing call, but you will recieve a free shot instead of a penalty and a face-off. The free shot is taken like a freekick in football(soccer). You can get a penalty for boarding, attentionatly slashing(or recurring slashing), unsportsmanlike playing. Freeshot instead of face-off is the main difference.

it is hard to explain over 'chat', but you may not lift your stick higher than round about the knee area. and no full bodie contact ( no body checks) a very big difference to ice hockey is the goalie is on his knees with no stick. I am sure if you google it there will be more info ;) p.s i play ice hockey too and to be honest it is more fun for me.

in the northern countries in europe it is very popular ;) i don't know how it isn't popular worldwide... :(

I think it's a reference to idol worship. "Goose-stepping with a smoking Irish fly." Bono smokes and is Irish... I think it's making fun of U2 fans, and trying to point out how silly their idol worship is. Can you imagine if Bono had a Tiger Woods type of scandal? His worshippers would be crushed.
