looking to move to san antonio to be honest for the fishing but also I am from a small town and more trucking opportunities there and I won't be far from coast either gonna be using my kayak a lot could you recommend any particular lures for the red fish there? I haven't fished for red before except colorado city before all the fish died I prefer lures if you know any.
@AJOutdoors16 күн бұрын
I prefer bait over lures for big reds, but big silver and gold spoons are popular especially at the jetties. Large top waters in the right conditions, and soft plastics. There are a lot of kayak fisherman in this area.

I bought this soon as I seen this video. Its great I like the fact you have to go through the calibration process everytime you start it up. And the image transmission is great shame you didn't get the digital version its way better.

Never an issue, that area was pretty thick , over 1/2”. It depends on the boat, I’ve seen some that require a backing plate.

I was surprised at how loaded with accessories this thing was right out of the box. $100 is a really good price. I have an Akaso but the buttons have broken after maybe a year so I'm interested in another one. The picture quality is great compared to the Go Pro 9. I think the audio is a bit better on the Go Pro also, but for $100 or less and with a ton of add-ons, it looks great. Selfie screen is really cool too. I am going to save this review and maybe look at buying one of these down the line. Great review - thanks!

I have an old 65mph bass boat. You can buy a new fish finder relatively cheap if you wait for NEW models to come out, then buy yesterdays models NEW with a warranty. I bought couple new $1000 9-inch Lowrance fish finders with 3-in-1 transducers for $598 each with 2-year warranties. I saw a new $2000 12-inch Lowrance fish finder with 3n1 transducer for about $550, but I already purchased the 9-inch models. If you own a boat and can't afford a fish finder, good luck.
@AJOutdoors14 ай бұрын
Fish finder vs. Navigation.. this is not used as a fishfinder, only Navigation. I have a simrad i use as my "Fish finder." This is a cheap (much less than the finder prices you quoted) way to get a second graph.

I would think by the time you pay the monthly cellular service for the iPad you’ll be at or more than a Garmin or hummingbird of the same size which has depths and fishfinder.
@AJOutdoors15 ай бұрын
You don't have to have the service. You just need one that is cellular capable, that gives you the internal gps antenna.

After you break the bleeder screws and start turning the steering wheel, does the motor still turn? I’ve done this process a few times and the motor does not lock-to-lock. Wheel stays turning freely.
@AJOutdoors15 ай бұрын
Yes motor should move. With air in lines you and bleeders open, you can go beyond lock. The key is the air being removed.
