TY, helps a lot on how to remove covering, but on that tweeter, I would have appreciated on "how to"... I mean you cut the frame of original one and glued it with upgraded one, but I wish i saw this part "uncut"... TY tho, just got my Cactus and the sound is horrible compared to my old Ford Focus Titanium (which had awesome sound for an original build).

This helped a lot to find the cover for the side mirror replacement. Thanks a lot

I did the job on mine, thank you Greg! Imprtant thing to know: In my case, there was no indication of polarity on the cables. So, before to cut the connector, you will find on it a "1" and a "2". According the polarity to welds on the original speaker, the 1 = + and th 2 = - . Put a mark on your cables not to forget it!

Will you put a subwoofer in your cactus at some point?? In that case is there already an output from the stereosystem for that? Great videos btw, just changed my front speakers in the doors - much better quality in the lower frequencies.. Next stop is the small speakers under the front window!

Can I use the same set of speakers in the front as you put in the back and just use an inline filter instead of the splitter?

Hi, nice video, but i saw that all kits they sell for cactus have 2 crossover for the front speakers to split hi and sub signals, why that? isn't the crossover already installed? and where?

Thanks for sharing, will come in handy knowing where the clips are on the door card. Unsure why you chose to snip off the connectors though. Adaptors connecting the speaker spades to the proprietary connectors are readily available and cheap to buy.

What specific speaker (and size) did you use in the front & rear doors? Are the factory speakers a standard 6 1/4" ? One or two way (factory)? Same question for the midrange or tweeters that you installed in the dash?

Good videos. Good job you have doing. I am looking to buy a 2018 Cactus to my wife. But a first thing to do is change the speakers with a 3 voices. Like this, no one can not see the difference from outside, only in listening. Sorrs for my poor english. Grettings from Swiss.

Hello Do you think that these speakers, especially the tweeter would fit into the plastic like the original tweeter, so I don't have to cut the plastic, and mount the cross overs in the door? www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/ts-q171c And one question, my Cactus doesn't have rear speakers, do you think the cables are there and prepared for speakers to connect? Thanks for the help.

Any 6.5 inch split speakers would work. I used splits with a passive crossover on the rear. But if you use passive cross over on the front, you will have to run new wiring to the tweeter. So get speakers like the Kenwoods that I used on the video so you can tuck the bypass filter in next to the tweeter. I tried to get info from Citroen and from the amp manufacturer about what output the amp had, but cound not find any info at all. You get what you pay for when it comes to speakers so spend as much as you can afford. I spent less than $300 AUD total and I am happy wirh the results. I would have lined the doors with sound proof matting if I wanted to spend more. Good luck!

My Cactus already came with the ARKAMY'S stereo upgrade, but sadly the standard speakers are poor quality, especially the rear speakers which distort badly even with the volume low. My kids love sitting in the back now.

If you buy split speakers with passive cross overs, you will need to run new wires from the tweeter to the 6.5" speaker and mount the cross overs in the door, which could be difficult. So buy split speakers with a filter like the Kenwoods that I installed. They are cheaper but you do lose some sound quality. Only a true audiophile would tell the difference.
