I worked in the city for years and saw the first tower at Canary Wharf, the Gherkin and the Shard being built. I work from home now in South London and miss the buzz of central London and the fantastic restaurants.

EMS veteran here. We’ve had landing zone training for years from helicopter emergency services personnel. My concern is watching them come in on approach. There was a ton of that perimeter, marking tape blowing all over the place. What if that were to have broken loose and blown back toward the helicopter and got sucked into an engine cowling? They never trained us over here to secure a landing area with tape. Anybody from the helicopter community in here care to sound off on this? Just from a safety standpoint part of this video is highly concerning to watch.

well I am a Londoner born in 1941, now live in Essex, divorced. However last year I used my savings to go on holiday to Seychelles ( which is where I met my ex-wife in 1984; ) so I got Airbus A380. Emiirates to DBX , change to a B777 to SEZ. There is no comparison of Airbus to Boeing. superb comfent in the A380, ing thing perfect everything. The cost of going on Emirates is more than some other airlines, but worth it..
@Philippines07018 ай бұрын
Airbus is my favourite company as i love the Airbus A380 and the A350 , i am flying on a Singapore Airlines A380 next week as i am going back to the philippines to live with my wife as my mum passed away in london on april 5th.

It's the Royal Auxiliary Air Force (RAuxAF) - the RAF's reserve organization - that is celebrating its centenary, NOT the RAF per se. The RAF was founded in 1918 and is older than its auxiliary. Great parade! Nice to see the RAuxAF make a well earned splash on The Mall and in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace.

Spent all night tracking these storms coming up across the Channel. First noticed the occasional flash of lightning about 1am, and it finally kicked off properly around 4.30am. Wished I’d had the courage to watch the storm, I used to watch any storms we did get with my Mum, but she sadly passed away in March. Unfortunately as the storm arrived, I chickened out and sat with my cat instead. 😂
